Quick Clamp Outdoor Shade Canopy, Desert Bronze Reviews

3.6 Rating 10 Reviews
The clamps on the legs that bear all the weight are made of plastic. One broke the first time I set it up. It would only cost a few cents more to make this important part of metal. The clamps that hold it to the table are inferior as well. One is stuck so that it's impossible to screw it tight. Otherwise, it's a great product.

Perfect for over the picnic table out in the yard where we no longer have any shade trees. Looks great with corner pieces that cover the poles.

This an outstanding, versatile product. It has more applications than promoted. Easy assembly, functional and eclectically appealing. Would not hesitate to purchase again.

I had been using this for few years already and its sturdy enough to keep up to 30mph wind gusts. Very strong and sturdy. Great product.

The tripod metal feet are assembled with molded plastic pieces. These pieces should be made of metal to withstand small wind gusts. One of these plastic pieces broke within a couple of days. I am going to fabricate new pieces made of metal. Other than that the rest of the product is made pretty sturdy for the price.

I bought this a month ago for my picnic table. I was really pleased after I put it together because the style is beautiful. However, two days later and a bit of wind, the canopy fell off and broke in three places. The warranty says I'm not allowed to return it for basically any reason, wind being one of them. So now I'm out 70 bucks with a broken canopy after a few days of receiving it. Will probably never buy another canopy from this company.

I happened upon this when a family member sent me the link -- never thought of there being such a thing available but the idea is great -- as we always end up using some of our canopy space for our table. I took this the first time to Ft Wilderness and although their tables are square instead of rectangular, they were within the limits of the canopy. Fastening the support legs to the main posts was with 6 screws, but the tools provided were stout and even though this was the most time-consuming task it only took 15 mins or so. The frame is VERY heavy duty, the main supports are wider than my 10x10 Ez-Up. Attaching to the table was simple, I attached it corner to corner and it worked fine. We were on an all-concrete pad, but it went through a couple heavy downpours and nothing moved. At night I folded the canopy down which was just with a push button on both sides. Easy. The upper supports are heavy enough for my heavy LED lantern. I haven't had to take down to pack and restow but it comes with a nice zippered carry bag so should be easy.
