“I used this at a fall fundraiser for a sales table. Clamped it to a Costco white folding banquet table. It was perfect. It was a beautiful fall day and a pop up would have taken up too much space. I would have given it 5 stars but was hoping this item could have stood on it's own without clamping but no go. Before it was clamped, it had no stability on a grass surface at all. In fairness, the instructions do say to use the clamp. The functionality of this I see as endless. Anything that it can be securely clamped to it will have great shade but for safety, make sure it is secure or it can/will topple over. The assembly is more complex than a pop up, it does take about 20 minutes 1st try and I hope will take shorter as we get use to it.”
