Commercial C100 Straight Leg Pop-Up Canopy, 10 ft. x 10 ft. White Reviews

4.1 Rating 8 Reviews
Commercial C100 Straight Leg Pop-Up Canopy. The canopy packs down small, sets up easily, and works well. We had a small issue with our product but the customer service was excellent and warranty solved our needs quickly!

We bought this tent a couple of years ago and used it about 6-7 times without issues, but two weeks ago, there was a bit of a downpour while the tent was open and two of the legs bent in the wind. The wind wasn’t even that strong so we are really perplexed about how the legs bent. So now our tent is useless and we are very sad about it since we haven’t gotten our value’s worth out of it yet.

If you are under 6 ft tall, you will likely need another person to help you put this up. Not sure of the durability after several uses. I've used four times and if I don't want the joints to bend, then I have to have a second person help me set it up. If I try to put it up by myself, too much pressure is but on the top of each leg, potentially bending the tops of the legs.

Perfect. We practiced one time in the backyard. The first time in an unimproved campground we took a few moments to spot a reasonably flat piece of ground, took our C100 out and had the frame and the top up in about the same time as it took our friends to turn the cranks to convert their tent trailer to the camper tent. It took a few additional minutes to put on the screen panel kit. That would have been shorter if we had labeled the top as starting point in our practice run. This was put up in a light wind (it blew the screen around a bit but not enough wind to move the top panel at all). Two people in their mid-sixties, not particularly in the best shape did this with ease. I don't think it could be done by a single person as you need to grab opposing corners and back away from each other in the initial stages. We used it for 3 days in nice weather. It provided bright shade and safety from the mosquitos. Update: we have now had the canopy, screens and shade panels for 3 years. We still use it a lot in the summer, both when camping and at home. It is great for family gatherings in backyard or on the deck, as a place to put food out of the sun and away from bugs. It is a bit of a challenge for two people in our late 60's to put up, but well worth the effort. It is still in great shape and has required nothing more than an occasional sponging for cleaning. No other maintenance has been required. It has also served to keep chairs and table dry during short, light rains. Probably would work in heavier weather if the seams were waxed, but we don't picnic or camp much in the rain and have not bothered with it.

I purchased this to use in my RV in places where there was a need for sun and rain protection as well as bug protection. This canopy fits easily over a full sized table and protect from sun and rain. I purchase the screening that went with this canopy and I had everything I wanted at a good price

My canopy lasted approximately 3 weeks. After a medium-heavy rain, the canopy collected all the rain (rather than running off), collapsing a leg, destroying the whole tent. Thankfully no one was under it at the time. No refund, no return.

Hi Chris, We are so sorry to see what happened to your frame! As stated in your manual, this canopy was designed for temporary use only and should not be set up in moderate-heavy rain, wind or storm conditions. Also, when set up it must be temporarily anchored to prevent accidental damage. To discuss this in more detail please give us a call at 1-800-932-9344. Thank you ,Customer Service,Debora
