“I live in Southern California where it never snows, never rains and the wind hardly ever blows. A gust did however come thru two days after I set it up. It shredded like a thin piece of rice paper. This canopy is definitely meant for temporary use and only perfect conditions. I'd buy a stronger enclosure for this unit, but Shelterlogic doesn't seem to make one. I would rate this thing to 10 MPH winds at best.”

We are awfully sorry to hear about this. As stated, this is designed as a temporary structure and is not meant to be left up in inclement weather conditions. Anchoring the shelter securely is critical to wind resistance. If extremely high winds or storms are predicted the structure can be dismantled and stored.
