We are very sorry to hear about this! All our shelters include a 1-year limited manufacturer's warranty, and if they cover tears within that period, we suggest filing a claim and having that reviewed and possibly replaced by the corresponding department.

“Everything about the Sequoia gazebo is great except for the top the covering. I live in the Corpus Christi area where it's windy and the top covering that comes with the gazebo cannot withstand 15 or 20 mph winds it literally just rips apart they have sent me a complete new gazebo because they just don't send out the tops I've actually had to take the top completely off and re-engineer the top of the gazebo.”

“i bought this item through home depot last june (2021) and love it! the only thing is that the canopy was a little too snug but we managed to get it on without any tears, but since having it on one side tore thru from the wind. I need to know about replacing the canopy top. any suggestions? thanks”

“We bough this shelter thinking it looked great (it is very pretty when it is dry!!), was perfect for our patio, as I need to avoid as much direct sun contact as possible. The fact that it was "Water Resistant" was an added bonus so our wicker set could be outside as well. We realize not Waterproof (not idiots as we have been hinted at), but a sprinkling should not cause a sieve effect, especially at ALL seams!! We contacted customer service within a week of putting it up when this happened it has been well over 2 months now and we have gotten NO WHERE!! We have taken it down to protect it, placed it back up just today to discover that it is shredding......WHY!!!!! I have never in my life been so angry at a product and lack of Customer Service. It is registered with Shelter logic, all pics and then some have been submitted. PLEASE STAND by your Product!!!!!!!!”
