“Just installed the Monarc 10x18. It had its first rain - 2". Collected three water pockets. Contacted Shelter Logic and they said this is typical and would have to manually push up the water pockets to drain the water. This is for permanent outdoor carport and I am not happy that I have to push the water pockets up to drain each time it rains. Not worth $300 for this water collection problem.”

Asides from removing any accumulation of rain or snow you also want to ensure you maintain a tight cover and this will also help in those circumstances. “Purchased as a cover for a back yard parking pad. Assembly was easy and it looks very good. We've had a couple thunderstorms since I put it up (yay Florida summers) and it handled the wind well although it's sheltered by a big fence on 2 sides. Overall very happy.”

As a previous owner of an online e-commerce site; I learned very quickly that customer service is the most important aspect and crucial element to set you aside from the rest. Shelter Logic you are the creme DE la creme, If i could give you a million star rating I would. I am an faithful (Ama.com abbreviate) consumer for the past 7 plus years, and I rate them a five star for their customer service. I have been looking for a new canopy that adds beauty to my home and not take away from it. I found Shelter Logics Monarc 10X18 on (Ama.com abbreviate). I live in TX and we get severe rain and wind so I needed to make sure the canopy I was buying was going to withstand the beating, besides being beautiful. Don't get me wrong (Ama.com abbreviate) is amazing but I needed to speak to a live person to ask several questions pertaining to the canopy which amazon customer service reps only read what's written. I called ShelterLogic and low and behold I got a live person, wow! the rep was so helpful and knowledgeable, I purchased the canopy while i was speaking to them.
When the canopy arrived the box was damaged in transport so I took pictures and contacted Shelter Logics customer service department via email since it was early evening. To my surprise when I woke up I received am email from Trish Thompson a customer service sales associate for ShelterLogic Corp. She assured me that if any part was missing or damaged they would replace it immediately. When I unboxed everything all parts were there. There were a couple of minor scratches on a pole but nothing I couldn't live with and still be a 100% satisfied. I took pictures and sent to Trish. She emailed back same day and told me they could send a replacement or offer me a free gift and gave me a couple products to choose from. Since it was close to the weekend and I was having some people help me put together the canopy I chose the gift and I am so pleased I already tomatoes starting to fruit in my new greenhouse :-)
Once the canopy was put together I noticed the tarp had a defect in one of the corners. I contacted Trish via phone (her signature had her direct line not an 800 number to leave a message again WOO) and within minutes I received an email stating a new tarp was on its way. This high end Monarc Canopy is by the far the King of the canopy world. Being the King parts are little more costly then the others, which is to be expected. So this new $139.00 plus tax and shipping tarp was on its way. No hassle, No having to send trap back to be inspected, No restock fee, no run around, just simply an astonishing no anxiety experience.
Overall great customer service,great website, great products, and best of all they have an outstanding exceptional employee Trish Thompson. Trish and SelterLogic I give a standing salute. You are one remarkable company.

“Received this canopy a week ago. The cardboard box was destroyed. All of the metal frame parts were loose inside the box which wore multiple holes through the canopy fabric and dented and scratched many of the frame components.
Assembly went well and I was amazed that all parts were there because of the large hole in the box when it arrived. The frame seems solid and I don't expect any issues there.
The canopy fabric is held in place with small bungee cords. It's been 1 week and some of the grommets are already starting to tear out. I don't have high hopes for this lasting even one season.
I have ordered various items from sheltetlogic in the past with good result. However, this order was not on par with my past experiences.”
“The 10x18 is perfect for my Ford F150 extended cab. The poles are very sturdy and there are many methods to anchor to the ground. I actually ran into one of the logs and bent it. The anchoring held. I have to order a replacement leg.”
