“I had this product before and is an excellent product however it needs to be secured to the ground and to a fixed structure. You also need to add more hardware to fill ALL the joints. And use lock-nuts on all bolts.”
“The unit is easy to set up but due to it's size it should have more hardware to make it more secure. There are holes in the frame tubing but not enough hardware to improve security of the unit. Purchased additional hardware and added to the framework. Also the legs had only two snap pins. There were no instructions indicating whre these two should go. I seems logical that there should have been a snap in each leg since any uneveness will allow a leg to become disconnected. I will be taping each connection to insure stability in the event of threatening wind.”
“This is the second Shelter Logic I have purchased . The first one was a 10x 20 and had it for 5 years. I bought the 18 X20 so I could park two cars under it . The quality of these products is very good and easy to set up. I anchored both of mine to the driveway with 2 inch tap cons and never had a problem. I live in Florida and we do get some pretty good afternoon thunder storms with 40 mile and hour gust .Never had a problem with the wind . On the down side the cords that are supplied do not last very long maybe 2 years they need to be replaced. If not they become to loose and rain will collect on the top instead of running off the top. Also The company is slow on shipping parts that are missing. The 18x 20 was missing two poles which we did not find out till it was assembled in our driveway. The company said they would send the poles overnight . Did not receive poles for a week.
Product gets 5 stars but after bad service on supplying missing poles I can only give 3 stars”
