“My daughter and I put the 8x8 SOJAG VENTURA gazebo together over the course of a weekend --we could have finished sooner but it was super hot out and we we’re working on a 8 1/2 foot wide deck that is 4 feet off the ground! Our space restrictions presented their own challenges but it actually went together quite easily!( It helped that we are both mechanically inclined). The most challenging part was placing the last roof panel — After a few minutes of reviewing the situation we realized that the centre support was slightly off centre. Once we corrected this the panel slipped right in place. I think it helped that we didn’t tighten a lot of the screws till everything was placed correctly.
I feel it went together quite well though the instructions were a little vague in places.
Overall the quality seems to be very good and all the parts were present and clearly labeled.
I like that extra screws etc were included .
My only recommendation would be if the Allen keys could somehow be supplied so they fit into a power drill as there were some places you could only turn the key 1/4 turn and a power drill would have sped up the process
Overall we love our new gazebo!!
Not bad for a Mom and Daughter project!!”

“Love it since it's finally put together. Assembly of roof panels was extremely difficult for 1 person, should have cross bars for roof panels to assist. No videos to help out there on the net. Came up with idea to tie string from screws for each panel which worked. And also keeping round top piece off till last panel. This helped alot. Wasn't fun but love the gazebo once finished”
Dear Patti,
Thank you so much for your positive 4-star rating of the Sojag Ventura 8 ft. x 8 ft. Gazebo! We truly appreciate your feedback and are delighted to hear that you are loving the gazebo now that it's assembled.
We understand that the assembly of the roof panels was a bit challenging for one person, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Your suggestion of having cross bars for the roof panels is valuable, and we will definitely take it into consideration for future improvements. Please note that we do recommend at least two people are required to assemble a Gazebo of any size.

Once again, thank you for your feedback and for choosing our Sojag Ventura Gazebo. We hope it brings you joy and relaxation for many years to come.
Best regards,
SOJAG!
“COULD HAVE USED A BALL END ALLEN WRENCH..COULD ONLY TURN QUARTER TURN AT TIME...AS FOR THE ROOF PIECES, A LITTLE MORE THINKING ON THE DESIGN...VERY DIFFICULT FOR 2 PEOPLE TO ASSEMBLE. NOT SURE WHY YOU HAVE THE HOLES IN THE TOP CORNER IF NOT ABLE TO USE THEM...MAYBE NEED TO DESIGN SOMETHING IN THE TOP CENTERPIECE TO PUT THE HOLE ONTO...THIS WOULD HELP THE ROOF FROM SLIDING OUT WHILE YOUR TRYING TO PUT ON THE OTHER PIECES AND HOLD IT...IN ADDITION A BETTER DESIGN FOR ATTACHING PIECES Q & R AND HOLD DOWN G1 & G2 WITH A SELF TAPPING SCREW INTO A SEMI FUNCTIONAL SCREW HOLE THAT DID BREAK OR STRIP OUT AT ANYTIME WAS VERY DISTURBING! NOT SURE HOW TO FIX THAT.....”
