“Purchased this run-in as a temporary shelter for my horses while I finish building a barn. It was up for 2 weeks and after the first snow the structure collapsed. Filed a warranty and was told it was not covered. See below the companys response. I specifically looked for a structure rated for all weather. Apparently, this is not it. Unless you have perfect weather all the time don't waste your money.
"We are sorry to hear what happened to your temporary Run-in-Shed in-a box. Unfortunately, acts of nature are not covered under the warranty. This Run-in-Shed carries a full limited warranty against defects in workmanship, not against acts of nature. This -Run-in-Shed in-a box is a temporary structure and not recommended as a permanent structure because it is not live load rated as listed on the owners manual. Please understand we consider you a most valued customer and hope you can appreciate our position on this matter."”
“When I bought this shed, that is a run in shed for a domestic home, I was not informed of the delivery limitations. The driver would not bring his 18 wheeler to my house. He said he doesn’t deliver to residential neighborhoods and has the problem regularly with Shelter Logic. I had to get a friend with a truck to pick it up. I was also not notified that someone had to be here to receive this shipment. The sales process and delivery requirement communications are poor or nonexistent. I would not buy another product from this company because I don’t want to support such dysfunction.”
“The shelter is pretty sturdy and was fairly easy to assemble- just time consuming. Our alpacas really like it and it seems like it will hold up for a while. The anchors that come with it were NOT good for our soil type. I have no idea how a person would ever get those in the ground.”
