I have tons of experience with storage tents. For over a decade I have had 4 permanently installed tents on my property. But sadly, I never could afford a ShetlerLogic. But then my sister bought a tiny CraigCat boat, and she needed a good tent that could handle the summer heat in Tucson. So, I bought her a ShelterLogic 62681 for Christmas, mainly because I can buy a super duty cover replacement later. But 15 days after I ordered, after numerous on route delays, the box arrives broken open, tubes hanging out and the cover ripped, presumably from the tubes moving around and gashing it. So much for my sister getting a pristine tent for Christmas. I have bragged to others about ShelterLogic's designs for years, but if the packaging can't make it to your house, good design is sorta pointless. It's December 23, what am I supposed to do now to make this right for my sister, who has zero experience and no mechanical ability, when I live In South Carolina and can't help fix this?

Everything you might need is included in the box. Assembly is relatively straight forward. The many pieces are number coded and the diagrams show you what to do. The assembly instructions rely on pictograms and use very few words. It all comes in a sturdy, compact box. My only reservation and the reason for 4 stars is that long spans of tubing are in two pieces when they could be 1 piece. But then the box would be twice as long and shipping cost would probably be greater, I would definitely recommend this product. I would like to see mention of replacement parts mentioned somewhere.

These people should be put out of business. The trouble they put me through was unbelievable. Stay away. You have been warned.

I do live in a windy area but the cover is failing after 13 months. Many small holes have developed and I can see there is long areas that are on the brink of ripping. Cover will not last more than 1.5 years. The frame is solid but I added some reinforcements made out of metal conduit which really stiffened it up.

Hello, We are very sorry to see that you are not pleased with your cover. Fabric life is affected by application, location and the physical elements the shelter is exposed to. We do offer much heavier covers that have significantly longer warranties and life expectancies. For more details please give us a call at 1-800-932-9344. Thank you ,Customer Service,Debora

I purchased this to cover my large 4 wheeled toy in January 2017 it is now September 2017 and the cover has failed and is ripping at the top across some of the frame points and I am sure that the rest will follow suit... covers are not strong enough to last for the unit.

Is it worth the purchase? I bought this product used in the summer of 2016. when I bought it, I owned a Honda Civic that did fit in in very well. In October of 2016 I bought a 2007 Ford Fusion. As you can see in the pictures and actually on the box it comes in, It shows a first gen Ford Fusion in the Shelter. This is false advertising! The ford Fusion Does not fit in the shelter. The shelter is also not wide enough to open both sides of the cars doors. I have to park with the passenger side only about 1 foot from the side so I have room to open my drivers door with ease. The shelter bulges in the back wall as I park the car in and when I close the front door on the shelter, the car can be seen bulging out of the front of the shelter. Simply put, Before buying this product, measure your vehicle bumper to bumper and mirror to mirror. Also, It has did very well the past year in all the very heavy damaging winds in Eastern Ontario, Canada. Also did very well this past winter. On Sept. 4th, 2017, I noticed some new tears in the cover just above the elbows posts going front to back. I put some Tuck Tape over them and hope it helps hold the material together. I may have to purchase a new shelter this winter season if the cover fails. I will not purchase A new cover, I will however upgrade the size from 15 feet to 20 feet to better hold my car. When that cover fails in a few years, I will likely purchase the 14oz cover made for harsh Canadian winters.
