“Holes for bolts were not de-burred necessating filing to get poles to mate. Directions misled resulting in difficulty in fitting sub assemblies together. Base horizontal poles were installed only to find that they had to come off again to fit the cover. Good concept; Bad execution.”

“Put mine up in 2012. Mounted it anchored to large masonry blocks levelled and embedded in the soil. Floor is a tarp with 6" of gravel on it. Garage protected with tall shrubs and some shade trees. First cover lasted seven years before pin holes started to show in the roof. Bought a new cover last year and just put it over the old one. Now my roof is twice as thick and the garage looks like new again. The new roof material is somewhat translucent and my neighbor's only lasted 3 years on his garage. His is exposed to the wind and full sunlight and mounted to his asphalt driveway. No property taxes on these garages so they pay for themselves. Best money I have ever spent.”

While sliding the tarp over the peak the tarp became caught on one of the bolts and I ripped a hole in the tarp. My problem could be avoided by drilling the hole in the 4 way top bend vertical rather than horizontal. The round end of the carriage bolt would be inserted from the top down.”
