“It was easy enough to assemble if you actually read the instructions. The garage works ask advertised. I found it important to prepare a slightly elevated site for the garage . If you just put it on the ground, one corner is invariably low and water runs in under the side during rain events. When the sun comes out the water evaporates and you get a greenhouse effect and eventually mold. Having a properly prepared site eliminates this issue.”
“I have had a different ShelterLogic garage for over two years. Wanted a larger one, so I bought the 12 x 20 (the previous was 10 x 20). I actually moved the smaller one to the back yard to store watercraft. Using this larger one as the garage for my car, I anticipate years of use out of it!
Now I've added a 10x10 to shelter my hot tub, assembly in progress in the picture!”
“I've had mine up 4 days and already have 2 holes from birds which is great (sarcasm). Hardware is garbage and strips with no tension at all. Instructions are hard to follow. Didn't bother with the door door opening kits which seem like a joke. Not to mention the end pipes have no backing so they don't tighten and just bend. Junk product, don't bother throwing money away on this. Not even gonna get into the 48 mullion daily junk emails that will for sure come with this review. Only good thing is the earth auger anchors themselves.”

Our warranty department does work hard to treat every claim fairly and consistently, which is why they did not approve of your claim due to it being an (Act of Nature), and Acts of nature are not cover under the manufacturer's warranty. Please note that this Shelter is not live load rated, and we recommend it to be anchored down and immediately remove any accumulated snow off the structure (if applicable). “I definitely would not recommend this garage if you live anywhere that has snowy winters. We bought this garage and it didn’t even last a year until the canopy ripped and the poles bent. Waste of money and time assembling.”

We are sorry to hear about this! This Garage-in-a-box is classified as a temporary structure and not recommended as a permanent structure. We do recommend anchoring the unit and removing any accumulated snow off the structure. Please note we offer hundreds of different shelters with varying sizes, shapes, and strengths, that are indeed permanent and live load rated. Please note that condensation sometimes occurs in different climates, temperatures, etc. We do offer a vent kit that will help with air flow.
