I bought it last summer. Had our first 40 mph wind and now the poles are bent. Good shed, but not in windy areas.

Hello, We are very sorry to hear about this! Unfortunately, this model is not live load rated. Anchoring the shelter securely is critical to wind resistance and keeping snow off the roof area is strongly recommended. We do offer custom Engineered Structures in this size that carry a wind rating when properly anchored. To discuss further and find the shelter which will best suit your needs please give us a call at 1-800-560-8383., Customer Service

I bought this about a month and a half ago and was so excited about it! It was set up for weeks through torrential rain, hail, and a foot of snow and worked perfectly! That is, until it was put up against the wind. The wind is normal for our region, so we weren’t worried about the garage, but apparently it couldn’t handle it. The 15 mph wind blew the cover off and tore the garage from the ground! It ended up breaking some of the augers holding the garage down, and the frame broke in a few different places. We’re still looking for a few augers that came off. This was disappointing because 15 mph winds aren’t even close to the worst winds we’ve had! I know the warranty doesn’t protect against the feats of nature, but now I’m out a couple hundred dollars and I’m out a garage in a box! I was just hoping that since it handled itself so well in the other elements, that it could handle a little wind. It’s a great garage, but not on a windy day.

Hello, We are very sorry to see this! Because this product is not an engineered building, they cannot be wind rated. Anchoring the shelter securely is critical to wind resistance. If extremely high winds or storms are predicted the structure can be dismantled and stored. We do offer custom Engineered Structures that carry a wind rating when properly anchored. To discuss further and find the shelter which will best suit your needs please give us a call at 1-800-932-9344. Thank you , Customer Service

After 2.5 years the material ripped and crumbled apart. Ripped down the length of the shelter and now my shelter is useless, after 2.5 years!! Now they expect me to BUY a new cover! The quality design needs to be examined, 2.5 years is ridiculous. Will not buy another shelter again from this company.

Hello, We are very sorry to see you feel this way. Fabric life is affected by application, location and the physical elements the shelter is exposed to. As stated in your manual, this is a temporary shelter so it includes a temporary cover. We do offer custom Heavy-Duty and Ultra-Duty covers for those using their shelters for a more permanent application. These upgraded covers have longer life expectancies and warranties. For more details feel free to start a live chat or give us a call at 1-800-932-9344. Thank you, Customer Service

I was a little disappointed. I cannot talk about how this unit holds up yet to a Wisconsin snow because I just installed it yesterday but a few things annoyed me about this shelter. 1. No instructions. I had to look at my small cellphone to figure out how to put it together. It wasn't difficult to put it together though. 2. There was a few holes in the cover that were obviously patched by the factory. They'll probably be ok but given how much this shelter cost, I wasn't happy about that. 3. All the nuts and bolts - 3 different sizes of bolts - were all thrown into one bag. It was up to the customer to measure each bolt to be used. How hard would it have been to have used 3 separate plastic bags? 4. No roll-up door. Ok, I understand that it can be purchased separately but the photo on the box and on this website distinctly shows a front door that is neatly rolled up. THATS MISLEADING. What I received was not what was advertised on the front of the box. My unit cannot be rolled up to look like what's on the box until I purchase an additional item.

Cover disintegrates over a couple of years. The company charges exorbitant costs for a replacement cover. Not worth it.

Hello, We are sorry to see you feel this way. Fabric life is affected by application, location and the physical elements the shelter is exposed to. We do offer replacement options in three grades of fabric. The standard fabric has a one year warranty and is about half of the cost of a new unit. We also offer upgraded materials which have longer life expectancies and warranties. To discuss your options in more details feel free to call us at 1-800-932-9344. , Customer Service

Steel frame, 4 foot spacing between sections really adds strength, nice clean welds, rounded quanset hut top sheds snow, dark green plastic looks good but gets too hot so put white plastic sheet on top which greatly reduces heat. Overall nice space that with a bit of extra care will last for years like my other one!

This product cover FAILED in less then one year and when I contacted the company their warranty department CLEARLY is using this to UP SELL to a higher gauge cover (which cost's over $1200). This is NOT a quality product as the failures ARE NOT AT SEAMS or stress point BUT ALL OVER the cover. Although they've "approved" the warranty claim, they want to send me the SAME cover which has already failed AND clearly in their communications this is not the first time - they simply expect me to "jump" at the chance to upgrade to prevent this from happening again.
