Garage-in-a-Box® 12 ft. x 20 ft. x 8 ft. Reviews

2.6 Rating 35 Reviews
I purchased this in July, 2015. By November of that year, one of the seams was beginning to come apart, but I could not locate my receipt to use the warranty. By spring, 2016 the seam was 90% apart and there were many areas beginning to rip at the stress points. At this point, the shelter is pretty much in tatters and I need to do something before winter. I hate to replace the cover with another one that will only last a few months, but cannot afford the upgrade to a heavy duty covering. The frame seems to be in excellent condition, but I may very well end up getting a couple of tarps to put over it for the winter. I definitely would have purchased something else if I had know of the short life span.

Hello, We are sorry to hear about what you experienced with your cover. We definitely would have covered seams coming apart within the one year warranty period as long as you had any type of proof of purchase. Fabric life is affected by application, location and the physical elements the shelter is exposed to. Customer satisfaction is also very important to us and I ask that you please call us at 1-800-932-9344 and mention this review and we will try to find a solution for you. Thank you , Customer Service

Bought 3 yrs ago, cover ripped first real snow. Replaced by heavy duty cover which cost twice as much as original complete garage, 2nd winter and frame is rusting through and started to collapse. Shored it up with 2x4 wood but over third of frame tubes have already rusted.

I bought this shelter just a year and a half ago, and today the fabric split down the entire length of the roof. It is the first snow of the year and the winds were only about 15 mph. It looks as though it separated at a seam in the fabric.
