Shed-in-a-Box® 6 ft. x 12 ft. x 8 ft. Gray Reviews

3.8 Rating 13 Reviews
The elbow piece at the top sides of each rib are not symmetrical, on the instructions there is no clear way of identifying which way the piece goes on. If you don't catch that if you put it on incorrectly, it changes the angle of the next verticle piece and the overall form of the frame meaning you have to take it down and redo it at an awkward stage of the build if you have completed the legs. Part numbers to read on the actual parts we're about 70/30 illegible, wasting a ton of time just figuring out what numbers I was reading. Either the stamp wasn't on fully, it was double printed, or some even looked like they were hand corrected and still hard to read.

Hi Mathew, Thank you for your valuable 4-star feedback! We appreciate your comments regarding the elbow piece and the leg assembly. Clear instructions are essential, and we are sorry that it caused confusion during your build. We also take note of your concerns about the part numbers; we’ll strive to improve their legibility in the future. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please feel free to reach out. Best, The ShelterLogic Team

It wasn’t too bad to assemble and worked well to store a golf cart. However I’ve been using it for less than 3 years and the roof has ripped and become so brittle that all the grey is flaking off whenever you open the door. Not having to consider purchasing a new cover which isn’t too far off the cost of a new kit. I would expect to get more than 3 years out of this product

Hello Michael, We are awfully sorry to see that you are unhappy with your cover. Please know that fabric life is affected by the application, location, and the physical elements the shelter is exposed to. If you live in an area that gets more sun exposure than most of the cover, along with exposure to other elements such as strong winds and snow, it can also affect longevity. We do offer replacement cover kits in Standard, Heavy-Duty, and Ultra-Duty material. The heavier material fabric has a longer warranty and life expectancies which might better suit your needs. If you would like to discuss any of this in more detail, our customer service team is available 7 days a week 1-800-560-8383. Thank you for your feedback and for leaving us a rating!

Very disappointed with this product, lasted less than a year in the Phx weather before the cover dried out and tore.

The best thing about this shed is that it has fasteners for every joint . Previous two sheds did not. The only problems were one of the zippers pulled apart on a breezy day and many of the part numbers on the tubes weren't legible.
