Shed-in-a-Box® 8 ft. x 8 ft. x 8 ft. Gray Reviews

Had a larger one which collapsed after 3 years but this is far better solution than building a conventional shed..Need to store a riding mower for the winter and needed something quick.. All parts and pieces were there but not divided properly lots of bolts very similar in length.. Would have appreciated them being packaged in separate bags to avoid confusion..Also when joining front and back did not indicate a bolt needed to be removed to do that..Pain in the A--!!!Overall good solution for the $$$

I bought this shed to replace one that lasted 5 years through Minnesota weather seasons, it stood up to lots of wind, rain, sun, snow through the years. That's why I didn't hesitate to buy one again.

I purchased this shelter to store my Harley in during the summer months in the north east (NJ) . I bassically had this unit up from May to November and took it down and stored it over the winter. It started showing signs of fatigue by the end of year 2. Year 3 the cover started to rip in the contact points due to dry rot so i added pipe insulation around the poles to cushion the cover. Year 4, i started using massive amount of duct tape to cover the tears, i even bought some roofing undersheild to repair the peak of the shelter. By the end of year 4 when i went to take it down for winter storage it basically fell apart while disassembling it. Although the frame is made well and could probably last 10 or 20 yrs the cover itself is just cheap tarp material. I looked in to purchasing just the cover and the cost is 2/3 of the price of a entire new unit. It just doesn`t make sense to waste the money on buying replacement covers every 4 yrs when for the money of 2 of these things you can build a wooden structure that will last 25yrs. In a perfect world with some shade this unit may last longer, but as a cycle shelter having to be out in the elements its just not worth the money. Mark in Jersey

I'd add a photo, but please check other 1 star reviews. The cover is failing at all of the top stretch points. It appears that i will only continue to tear. Also, I built floor to keep my tools off the ground and , the end flaps do NOT go all the way to the top of the floor, so water seeps through and soaks the floor. This would occur if the unit sat on the ground as well. The cover did not hold up even in very mild temperate climate zone (Coastal CA - summer seldom above 85F, winter seldom below 30F).

Hello, We are sorry to hear about your cover failing. Fabric life is affected by application, location and the physical elements the shelter is exposed to. Our standard covers do have a one year warranty and if you are within that time period we recommend filing a claim. We also offer upgraded material with much longer life expectancies and warranty periods. If you have any other questions or concerns we would be more than happy to discuss this with you at 1-800-932-9344. http://www.shelterlogic.com/support/forms/warranty-claim/ Thank you ,Customer Service,Debora
