GrowIT® Greenhouse-in-a-Box Pro, 12 ft. x 20 ft. x 8 ft. Reviews

2.7 Rating 6 Reviews
Sturdy posts & robust covering. Assembly took longer than the 2-3 hours directions stated, but I was working with 2 not-handy helpers, so I was the only one actually assembling & tightening the bolts. If everyone involved can handle a socket wrench, it would likely go much faster. Designers thoughtfully made all nuts the same size, so only the single tool is needed. Do wish they had a version with doors at both ends (or that I'd seen it, if they do), but otherwise a very nice, large, 'starter' greenhouse, especially for the cost.

This material results in a very unsafe situation where the tiny translucent particulates break off and land on one's black shirt, crops, coffee, lungs, eyes, & dust the ground and crops in the fibers in time. After the tiny flexible (it sounds like it's the Polyethylene material by the manufacture's website) fibers enter one's lungs they begin to chock and cough as time passes with lung exposure to the tiny particles that break off. One's eyes get them stuck in them also. I will never buy from this company again.

Wish I had read All the reviews for they mention that its hard to assemble and that apparently has not been addressed by the company in all the years they have producing these. Almost all reviews also mention cover lasts up to 3 yrs life span and NOT UV protection as specified. Seams rips easily. These were all correct! If you forget to seal the bottom edges before a storm, then the seams rip. FYI I found that you have to have a small vent hole in the top peak to allow winds out so the seams are not damaged so quickly, and that should be a feature in all sizes... too bad this brand doesnt. We had other brands that were stronger covers and poles but more expensive. One firm guarantees covers for up to 5 yrs... wish I had gone with that firm but I couldnt recall its name at the time we were seeking to purchase. Also all reviews should have dates listed. I bet some of those good reviews are old.

Hello, Fabric life is affected by application, location and the physical elements the shelter is exposed to. We are sorry your cover did not last as long as you had expected. Our covers are UV treated inside and out but our standard covers do have a life expectancy of about 3 years. To go over upgrade options please call us at 1-800-932-9344. Thank you , Customer Service

I bought this last year. The cover in the front and rear simply doesn't cover all the way to the ground. I called and got a replacement cover but the new cover didn't go all the way to the ground either. It also didn't last a year. I live in Texas and it must be the sun. Just really disappointed that the cover does not last even a year.
