“Product good. the assembly instructions are poor. Manual supplied was for 10 x 8 structure. You had to guess on some of the procedure when going to 10 x 20. Also the bottom rail clamp are insufficent in clamping force. Wind induced vibration will caouse the rails to move up.”

“Took over a month to receive it. The cover is pretty good quality as well the tubing, however the hardware is all cheap crap, the bolts bend fairly easily making disassembly/reassembly difficult, I also received extra tubing which was a little confusing at first. That being said the shelter is decent quality when fully assembled, but getting to that part was daunting, the instructions are piss poor, I think my 6th grade nephews could make better ones, horrible illustrations as well. I think next time I'll just pull a permit and build a garage instead.”

“Haven't had the ShelterCoat custom round 10 ft x 20 ft x 8 ft heavy-duty PVC wind and snow-rated shelter for long but it has already withstood howling winds and driving rains without a problem at all. Hope I never get to test its snow rating though, but I'm sure it would do fine. Just wish I had gotten it a couple of feet wider, as it is a struggle getting in and out of my truck with the 10-foot width. 12-foot would have been perfect. Also, a strap to hold the door in the open position would be a great feature. I had it drop on my head one morning and that heavy bar in the bottom of the door gave me a pretty good knock. Assembled the frame myself, but it wasn't easy. Two or three people would have made it much easier. Had to call in help from a couple of buddies to get the heavy cover on, though. Bottom line, I'm glad I got it and would recommend it to others.”
“It is pretty good, not great, some of the workmanship could be better like the square holes for the bolts, some are rounded and would not hold the bolt from spinning. The directions really are not very good and when i had a video sent it was not a lot better. Overall, it is doing the job I bought it for. wish there was one with straight sides instead of rounded with custom feature.”
“1) I placed an order via the website November 29 at 9:55AM PST with the receipt and charge information sent to me indicating that the purchase had been made. I checked with my financial institution and verified that the payment had been made at that time. It showed pending so I had assumed that the purchase was complete.
2) I made a cancellation inquiry via e-mail on Dec 13 7:49am PST. I requested an update on the order as I had heard nothing since purchase. I did not check again to see if payment had been made as I was under the impression since it was pending before it had gone through.
3) In doing personal accounting I noticed that I was charged on Dec 16th for the order. This is conspicuously close to after I had requested a possible cancellation. I know a few companies still hold billing after the initial purchase date, however there was no notification initially that this would happen, this late. I would recommend that some sort of advance warning during time of purchase be made to the consumer, a major inconvenience especially during the holiday time frame.
4) I called customer service via phone on Dec 17 at 9:03 AM PST and received the message that the office was attending a function and would not be available until the afternoon. I was unable to call again that day.
5) I was able to contact customer service on Dec 18 at 7:28 AM PST. They proceeded to inform me that billing was done this way: where a hold is put on the purchase account and later withdrawn in full. They also confirmed that the order had been completed and was being shipped at that time. I had not received a confirmation prior, only the billing previously. Customer service was helpful enough to send the tracking information so I would know when it might arrive. I inquired at this time what could be done if I wanted to cancel (winter came early this year and snow will be an issue) they informed me that I could ask to return but would be charged 30% restocking + shipping if I decided to do that. At this point that would almost amount to the cost of the product. Tracking showed that arrival estimated to be Dec 27.
6) Following this closely, tracking indicated that the shipment arrived and was "Directed to a Marketing Partner" on the 25th of December. I have not been contacted about a possible delivery option or time.
7) Followed up again on December 31st, no response from customer service. Still no delivery pending or other wise.
8) 3rd time to follow up: called customer service straight to voice mail (will still a holiday greeting and out of the office time message).
So in brief: ordering for the discounted shipping directly from the company was a horrible idea. The order was unprocessed and unable to be cancelled, without significant consumer cost. Customer service is almost non-existent, either by company e-mail or phone contact. This is the second e-mail requesting a review so I am complying to warn others of the deplorable action of this company. They may have the best buildings on the planet but are unable or unwilling to deliver and follow up on a simple consumer order with very poor customer support. Stay away or order from a 3rd party that can give customer support.”
