“The shelter was fairly easy to construct with just one person. I've had a few others and was familiar with how the unit is assmbled. The metal tubing was of a heavy construction and should hold up to wind and snow. There were two issues I had. In previous shelters, the role up door had two grommets at the top to hold the door open. This unit doesn't have any grommets, so I have to use a spring clamp. The other issue is that I wanted to purchase the product for rolling up the door easily. It is listed on their website, but I could not purchase it. Emails sent to product support have gone un answered.”

“There were no instructions included with the shelter. There were things labeled "instructions inside " but no instructions. Further, there were no internet instructions for my particular model. We were able to assemble the shelter using instructions from similar models.
That said. I like the shelter. It seems very sturdy. Time will tell”

“Take your time. Either be a 300lb monster like me or make sure you have one or two friends to help, because lifting the heavy duty main cover takes muscle. DO NOT ADD ANY of the covers until you have adequately anchored the unit, because it's an amazingly agile kite (don't ask). The photo shown of the 8 x 12 is NOT representative of what you get...the photo is a 24' long and much wider. The 8 x 12 has walls that are angled in at a sharp angle, so while the floor is 8' wide, the usable space is a bit more narrow. That said, once assembled and anchored, its performance in my very windy and snowy environment has met my expectations, and the extra money for a 14.5 oz fabric Shelter Logic rather than the Harbor Freight unit I'm used to feels like money well spent. One star lost due to marginal written directions (contact me, Shelter Logic, if you want feedback) and for not showing a good image of what an 8 x 12 actually looks like assembled.”
