“The kit was straight forward to install. You can definitely tell the material is more durable than the original supplied cover. Only issue was something I saw mentioned on a few other reviews was the cutouts for the side poles on the main cover not lining up. I had to cut the slots to line up slightly to line up with the poles. One tip before you install the doors tie something onto the straps so they don't pull through the ends when you are trying to install the door.”

“I purchased a white Heavy Duty PVC 14.5 oz replacement cover for my peak top portable garage 10 ft x 20 ft x 8ft to replace the original cover that came with the portable garage. The original cover and garage, situated on my driveway in full sun (in Northern Ontario) and endured snow in the winter (which was always taken off the top from underneath after each snowfall using a soft foam on a pole). The original cover only lasted 2 years and was starting to tear at wear points along the top corners on both sides and down the middle of the top. I do not use the garage ends, so the garage remains open on both ends and is well secured from heavy winds using screws through the metal mount brackets to a 2" x 6" treated wood base running along both sides of the garage, as well as 16 sand bags --8 on each side which sit on top of the 2" x 6' boards. I was able to take off the old cover and put on the new cover by myself, using ladders to access the top and pull it across from one side to the other. It took longer to do with one person but can be done. The new cover has a 10 year guarantee, compared to only 1 year for the original cover and is much heavier material than the original. I also like the white color compared to the tan/yellow color of the original. I wish this heavier cover would have come with the original garage. The only issue I found with installing the new cover was that I had to cut out bigger openings in some of the bottom material where the horizontal poles attach to the vertical poles-- when putting the nuts and bolts hardware back on the poles, as the openings were not large enough. I do hope this cover does last at least 10 years.”

“After having my old shelter for 8 years, the tarp finally died from strong winds. I debated over getting a new, upgraded vinyl covering and very glad I did. MUCH heavier, thicker, and more durable. But the added bonus was all flaps that reach the ground are 4-6” longer, so no more air gaps, it seals up much nicer and the winter snow holds it down well. 117km/h winds aren’t blowing it around like the old tarp did.
ONLY negative are the bottom pole loops that secure the roof tarp down were not cut in the right area; like not even remotely close. So I had to manually cut my own gaps for the poles to mount into their hardware on the uprights. Otherwise, great upgrade. I do with they sold single zipper doors though because I’d love to access my stored items from the back sometimes.”
