“When the shipment arrived, it was late. The communication on the status of my purchase was non existent. I had to inquire several times and each response was a one sentence of response, my order was shipped. I asked when it would arrive and be delivered a few times and each response was the same. Order was shipped. After finally receiving the package and having it delivered by the trucking company, the next day I decided since the weather was still good that my son would help me put it together. We started pulling out the components of the car port and started bolting them up but we soon realized that the ribs after bolting them up were crooked and not lining up correctly with other parts of the frame. We soon realized that the manufacturing process of the curved pieces, the upper arch pieces if you will, we're all bent wrong not only did they arch but they also bent out to the side which made it impossible for a good fit and square to the other side and legs. I called shelter logic more than 4 or 5 time's to see what could be done and they said they could possibly ship out replacement parts. At the time when I called i did not realize that there was a more bent pieces I didn't realize how many there were in fact all the upper arch portions were not manufactured correctly and bent to the side and not just curved. The only praise that I can give shelter logic at this point is the fact that once I finally spoke to a supervisor about their product and about how the manufacturing was horrible and after sending them many pictures of the poor manufacturing process that they decided they would refund my money. That took approximately 2 weeks for that to happen Once the trucking agency come over to pick up the carport the truck driver didnt have a way to load it. I myself had to load it onto the truck with my tractor for him. So from the time I ordered to the time of my refund it took 6 1\2 weeks. Honestly the entire thing was a let down as they should never have sent out an inferior product, they should have checked their product before boxing it and shipping it. I would never ever recommend buying a car port from shelter logic Especially paying over $2600 for a bunch of bent pipes that do not fit correctly, the customer service was abysmal with the exception of the supervisor that i spoke with. She actually was the positive in the entire process.”

“My standard cover lasted less than two years! now I’m converting to a greenhouse! I would of definitely updated to the better cover if it was available when I purchased this!”

We are awfully sorry to see that you are unhappy with your cover. Please know that fabric life is affected by the application, location, and the physical elements the shelter is exposed to. If you live in an area that gets more sun exposure than most of the cover, along with exposure to other elements such as strong winds, it can also affect longevity. We do offer replacement cover kits in Standard, Heavy-Duty, and Ultra-Duty material.
