Firewood Seasoning Shed, 10 ft. x 10 ft. x 8 ft. Reviews

4.2 Rating 10 Reviews
I purchased this Shed to use as a Green House and so far, it is working out perfectly. I built a foundation from 4x4x10's and drove 30" augers at each corner, lagged into the 4x4's. I've been keeping my apple trees in it until they can be planted and the 10 x 10 foot size works out perfectly. I Couldn't be happier with my decision to purchase this and it was in your clearance section, so I saved a good deal.

Purchased for my landscape company to season firewood for to sell. Mainly to keep it all dry and such. Bought through the website on sale $175! Does what it’s supposed to do. Nothing fancy. It’s held up through a big snow storm 30”+ Good Buy

The bottom is wide open, so I put 4x4s on the sides to keep critters from coming in, but the front and back are off the ground by a couple inches. The bottom is just a tarp and the tie downs to the ground anchors are way too short. I had to use heavy wire and twist them. Still, it's much cheaper than building a solid structure, easy to get in and out of, and keeps the wood dry.

I've giving this a 4 star because it does work. My wood has been incredibly dry and in a short time. That said it was a pain to put up and the tarps have not lasted in the sun and wind. I've been using this for 2+ years and the tarps have already had it. Big tears have developed where the tarps meet the metal frame. You probably could put foam pipe insulation over the metal frame but that would jack up your cost and it would do nothing to prevent the sun from deteriorating the tarps. Short of a way to prevent that this is a temporary solution for someone saving to build a wood shed.
