Firewood Seasoning Shed, 10 ft. x 20 ft. x 8 ft. Reviews

3.4 Rating 26 Reviews
I purchased this shed in the fall of 2019. Setup took a fair bit of time but was not too difficult. Initially I was pretty happy with the shed; however, neither the happiness nor the shed lasted long. By January of 2020, the cover was beginning to tear and the doors would not remain zipped closed in the wind. During one bought of wind in March, half of the anchors (4 provided and 4 that I bought at an additional cost) pulled from the ground. In order to not lose the entire shed I was forced to cut the cover from the frame thinking that would be the cheapest way to salvage a portion of the shed. Unfortunately the replacement cover is 70% of the cost of a new shed (plus shipping). It is absolutely not worth replacing for something that I cannot reasonably expect to last even one season. I will not be considering ShelterLogic again and will be looking for a more reliable solution to my woodshed needs as well as my upcoming greenhouse needs.

Hi Dan, We are very sorry to hear about this! All of our shelters have a minimum one year warranty and we suggest if anything happens to your cover within this time frame that you submit a claim and have it reviewed by the corresponding representative. This shed includes four temporary anchors and we do suggest purchasing anchors suitable for the terrain on which it is being placed. If you would like to discuss in more detail, please feel free to give us a call at 1-800-560-8383. Thank you , Customer Service

I bought this a month ago and finally got around to putting it together this afternoon. While the customer service is a 5/5 For an issue I experienced upon initially opening the box I did have difficulties with the directions. Clarity needs to be added for where the roof pieces meet the leg pieces. I noticed these were not the same and direction dependent. The directions did not clearly say what way to install these. My biggest gripe has to be when you’re securing the top tarp to the side. The tarp where you slide the tubes into was not cut evenly on each side. Because one side was cut short, the middle piece was cut long causing a sag in the material and not giving me the slack I needed to ratchet strap the roof on (I wish I took a before pic). I had to cut the tarp to accommodate securing it to the side. Otherwise I would have had issues with strapping down the roof. See pics below of the short side. I forgot to take a pic of the long side. I did include a picture of the other side as a reference. (Hopefully I didn’t void the warranty). Ps. Do yourself a favor and call a friend to help you set it up. I did it solo during a windy day and had a fun time trying to put the roof on solo.

This is a heavy duty product. I am very happy with this shed. It was not hard to put together but the directions could be a little better. Overall very happy with this!

The exposure to the sun caused the door material to become brittle and low speed wind shredded them. I owned the shed for over a year but it took me a while to set it up and the doors were only exposed to the elements for about 8 months when they failed. I assumed given the low quality materials, the replacements would be inexpensive but they are $60 EACH.

Bought this in October 2018 after reading reviews; 2 weeks in and it started to tear and zipper pulls broke. Now straps have broken and it leaks. Reviews that said it held up to conditions back east must have been paid.
