“Replacement is a key word as it is a repair for a "temporay shelter" that will continue to need replacement. These shelters do the job and are still a very good option for temporary shelter. Being able to rely on getting a replacement cover is better than wasting the whole structure and tossing it in landfill. New in 2019, this is the fourth cover in five yeras, The rain and snow are less of a concern but the sun eventually destroys them and they leak, flake white poly powder on your contents and split appart. The 2nd was waranteed and the next two were purchased. Still good to be able to get replacements and the sidewalls in good condition are cut and re-useable as ground cover against rising dampness for car storage!”

If you live in an area that gets more sun exposure than most of the cover, along with exposure to other elements such as strong winds and snow (if applicable), it can also affect longevity. Please note that we do offer the Heavy-Duty and Ultra-Duty material. The heavier materials have a longer warranty and life expectancies which might better suit your needs. “Changing the cover went great. it does seem a little bit bigger, but it could be my imagination. it's nice that it comes with replacement tensioners. I wish the 10% off coupons would have been received before I ordered it. Also why are some of your products not lister on Amazon?

“This is the second cover for the carport I have. It's all good in the beginning but they last about 14 months and then they start to turn white as the material breaks down you can see light though it, then they tear and fall apart.”

“Vinyl cover is good. Glad we saw other reviews and kept the door pulley system and string as it wasn't included in the kit . No issues so far. Hopefully it last longer than 2 years like last one. Our Shed is in sun mostly.”

“I received the recommended replacement cover; quality is good, instructions to install are good. The issue is I sent customer service the dimensions, a picture, and a part number; the wrong item was recommended. Once I received the cover, I set up to replace by removing the old and getting ready the new. It became apparent it was too big. I live in an area that it rains a lot so I had no choice but to install it. I had to protect items stored in the unit. I did an on line chat with shelterlogic, explained the situation expecting some sort of compensation. The customer service rep requested the picture and information I had sent and indicated she would review with her supervisor. Nada....I have followed up with a request for resolution...nada. Maybe I'm expecting too much to have shelterlogic followup and do the right thing. So overall, the quality of the replacement cover is good.”
