“So this is our 2nd or may 3rd replacement cover. We seem to have the same issue with each one. When you unfold and place cover on frame you can see small visible pin holes in fold lines. This has happened with every one we have purchased including the first total kit. Eventually between snow, wind and rain it becomes to much for the replacement cover and then it begins to shred. Usually within a 1 1/2 - 2 year period. It may be just this style and this is the only one i can review....Now with that being said...We still love our shelterlogic shelter because it is affordable for us at this moment. And yes, we will and have recommended Shelterlogic to everyone. Shelterlogic has a very helpful customer service line! I have taken many photos of the pin holes. The last cover simply shredded to pieces. It was up in the morning and completed shredded and fell off frame by afternoon due to 20 - 25mph winds. I don't believe my husband took photo's. I just ordered another. We needed it fast....Delivered within a few days.”

Please know that fabric life is affected by the application, location, and the physical elements the shelter is exposed to. If you live in an area that gets more sun exposure than most of the cover, along with exposure to other elements such as strong winds and snow (if applicable), it can also affect longevity. We do offer replacement cover kits in Standard, Heavy-Duty, and Ultra-Duty material. The heavier materials have a longer warranty and life expectancy which might better suit your needs.

“I would be very surprised if this thing lasted one Canadian winter. This is the second replacement cover I have purchased, and this one is most definitely thinner than the last. It is 100% not worth the money. It already has a small tear, and with some wind and snow, this cover is going to get destroyed in no time. I bought a heavy-duty tarp from Princess Auto to cover the top to give it some extra protection. Would never recommend buying a shelter logic in the first place. It's not good value for the amount of time they last.”
