“This cover is absolute garbage!
None of the pockets/seams are stitched (the original was!), this thing will be lucky to last one winter. Extremely disappointed!!!”

“No information or replacement of cord for door. This is a large door and cord replacement should come with this package as should instruction for assembly of door cord. Apparently have to make holes in cover to install cords if you want to raise your door. Should be grommets or some support for this.”

“The basic cover is so cheaply made for this product. The material is so thin it will be lick if it lasts for that a year or 2 at most. I haven’t tried their upgraded tarps as I’m worried they would not be the worth the big jump in price”

We are awfully sorry to see that you are unhappy with your cover. Please know that fabric life is affected by the application, location, and the physical elements the shelter is exposed to. If you live in an area that gets more sun exposure than most of the cover, along with exposure to other elements such as strong winds and snow (if applicable), it can also affect longevity. We do offer replacement cover kits in Standard, Heavy-Duty, and Ultra-Duty material. The heavier materials have a longer warranty and life expectancies, which might better suit your needs. Most times when a unit is purchased from a retailer, the customers cost is discounted compared to buying them directly from ShelterLogic. That does make the replacement covers seem pretty expensive when comparing.
All "In a Box" models are considered temporary, the covers have a 1-year warranty against manufacturer's defects. We do offer heavier covers for most "In the Box" models and we also carry models that come with covers that are made for longevity. “C'est la troisième toile de remplacement que nous achetons. Seule la première s'est ajuste comme un gant et a duré quelques années. La deuxième a déchiré sur le dessus dès le premier hiver. Elle était d'ailleurs beaucoup plus mince que l'originale et la première toile de remplacement. Celle-ci (la troisième) ne s'ajuste pas très bien non plus, impossible de la tendre comme il faut et est aussi mince que la précédente. Durera-t-elle?”

Si vous résidez dans un endroit ou le soleil est très fort ; et où il y a du vent et de la neige tout ça pourrait affecter la longévité du matériel de la toile.
