“I bought this box specifically for keeping my bird seed secure from squirrels and raccoons. I was so tired of these animals chewing through the plastic deck boxes, so when I looked online to find a metal deck box, this looked perfect...and it was! It was easy to put together, but takes two people. It looks great and the Pneumatic lift on the lid keeps it securely open when getting items out. It has stayed dry inside although we’ve had a lot of rain. I highly recommend getting this box for any of your outdoor needs.”

“I purchased this deck box to store bird feed and food on my deck. The plastic deck boxes I had purchased prior, got chewed up by Raccoons and Squirrels trying to get into the container. This metal box, so far, has prevented these varmints from chewing, to get to the bird food. The box is also decorative and blends in nicely with my deck furniture. The only complaint I have is, the box is difficult to assemble with just one person. You need two people, so one can hold the sides straight, in order to insert the metal screws. Also, my box came without a set of Hex Bolts. I called the manufacturer and informed them. The initial response was from the customer service person was, "go to the hardware store and purchase a set." I told her I would probably end up doing that, since I wanted to assemble the box, that day. Although, I did ask her to send me a set, for possible future use. As of this writing, about a month after I assembled the box, I still have not received the set of bolts. Poor customer service.”
