Admiral™ Series Steel Storage Shed, 8 ft. x 5 ft. Creamy Vanilla Reviews

2.7 Rating 6 Reviews
Not of the holes line up. Had to drill all customer holes to get the front header to fit. Then 14 holes to line up the gables. Building continually gets out of square. Roof panels have holes that don't line up with anything and don't appear in the assembly instructions. Love to just quit and send it back. 10 more roof screws to go if I can find someone to bend the building while I try to find holes.

Hello Joe, We are very sorry to see that you are not satisfied with your purchase. When properly assembled, drilling new holes is not necessary and not recommended. It is critical to ensure that the floor frame parts measure exactly what is depicted in the manual when assembled; If the measurements are not exact, then it will throw off the rest of the assembly and the holes will not line up. Hence your building must be level and squared for the holes to align. Please note we are also available for assembly support 7-days a week at 1-800-851-1085 (press 1). https://www.shelterlogic.com/arrow-sheds/maintenance/assembly-tips/ Thank you, Customer Service

The box arrived in perfect condition. Directions were clear and accurate. Despite continually ensuring that the shed was square and level, & that all screw holes were aligned, the doors did not fit properly; they were too tight. I had to modify the opening so that they would open and close freely. The structure is dry after the rain and looks good. Overall we are very pleased.

Hello, We are very sorry to see that you are not satisfied with your purchase. When properly assembled, drilling new holes is not necessary and not recommended. It is critical to ensure that the floor frame parts are squared AND level or the holes will not line up properly, as is depicted in the manual. If the measurements are off, it will throw off the rest of the assembly and the holes will not line up properly. Also, the platform needs to be level and flat as well. It's a nice shed. As others have noted, it took absolute ages to assemble. Like 2 people the better part of 12 hours over the course of 3 days- and one of us built an airplane from scratch! It takes time, but it seems to be a solid shed. Our only trouble was that the right door is so hard to open (it rubs on the other door on the top) that we had to use a metal shaver to get it to open and shut properly, and the holes drilled in the top and bottom of the door frame for the door lock were misaligned so we had to drill proper holes. Minor issues. Still a good shed.

We bought the 8x5 shed to enclose our inground pool motor/pump. It was a great investment. Perfect size by the pool (not overwhelming) and for the coverage we needed. Looks beautiful and very stylish.
