“My brother is still waiting for a call back from Monday 7-29. The technician told him he needs a new AC unit that should be covered by the warranty. He was told someone would call him the next day (Tuesday) to schedule it. He’s been getting by with a couple window units.
I need to revise my review. I was not aware they were waiting to see if the same unit was in stock. It was not in stock, so they are going to replace the unit with an upgraded one at no additional cost. The sales service representative was very responsive and accomodating. I apolagize for jumping the gun. Shipley gets 5 stars from us!”
“Our AC was down for several days.
Shippley was very good at scheduling the service call and as always very professional and polite.
It took three tries over 4 days with two different techs to fix the problem.
My problem is that I have a several thousand dollar service contract that I feel is not a value.
I was charged three times for the calls and repairs. two of which may not have been needed since the final fix was a valve that was fixed on the last visit. Now I have several hundreds of dollars bills for repairs that I thought should be covered by the service contract.
I guess Ill read the details deeper when it come time to renew.
Love the company not sure I like their service agreement.
