“Today's service call went well. Replaced a defective part. The issue I have is that part should have been inspected during the maintenance call I scheduled on June 19. During that call, the tech only sprayed the outside unit with my hose. Did not remove the unit panel to inspect any internal parts. If he had today's service call may not have been needed. When I purchased the A/C service plan, I thought the system would be checked. Instead all that was done was spray the outside unit and change an inside filter, which I had on hand. The tech did check the air temp, then that was it.
I feel the service call on June 19 should have been more detailed.

He diagnosed the problem with our ac compressor unit and it needs to be replaced. He made a temporary repair to try to keep it going until a replacement can be installed. While it is not a good situation, Shipley and Steve handled it very well.”
