“Our servce man repaired the hot water filtering problem and was courteous and knowledgeable about our probem and resolved the issue. However this repair could have been avoided by Shipley! The diagnosis of a completly corroded Anode rod was correct! This system was installed by Shipley in September 2008 and has been serviced yearly by Shipley since installation with our service plan. No documentation exists that during our yearly heating system tune ups that this Anode rod was ever inspected. Anode rods being sacrifiical are meant to break down and replaced every few years. Suggest this inspection be added to Heating System Tune Ups.
