“I have tried convincing myself that this phase was at least 'fun'. It wasn't, aside, possibly from 'The Spy Who Loved Me'. 'Octopussy' isn't quite as bad as 'AVTAK', but it isn't far behind. Moore is dreadful. So are his leading ladies. So is Steven Berkoff (an actor I usually quite look forward to watching). The only good bit is the sequence featuring 009 at the circus in East Berlin.The first three Bond movies are cinematic classics if you like, peaking with 'Goldfinger'. Six out of the seven with Moore simply make me angry - at the producers for the most part, who thought the label 007 would make audiences swallow any old filth. But, what came after - Dalton, Brosnan - was even worse, just in different ways. Can't bear to watch Craig so can't comment.”
“The case was rough around the edges, and a couple the CDs fell out of their holder a time or two, but everything else was great. Arrived within a couple weeks, and it was less than $5. Amazing movie.”

“Great film as ever and the HD quality is far better than the DVD edition and the extra footage makes the film so much better. Only problem i have with this Bluray edition is that the film is divided between 2 discs so you have to change it halfway through like the DVD version. Was hoping it would be like the hobbit 3D Bluray edition where the HD version of the extended film (not the 3D version) is on 1 disc.”

Wenn man sich den Film heute ansieht (speziell nach "Der Hobbit 1-3) fällt auf, dass die Animationen nicht mehr ganz top sind. Hier sollte Peter Jackson nachlegen und diese Sequenzen überarbeiten (lassen). Ansonsten gewaltiges Helden Kino.”
