“slides while using as i have a wood floor, but that's to be expected. haven't tried to tighten up the mechanism yet, just breathing is enough resistance for me at this point!”
“This is a game changer. I wanted something bare bones as opposed to a bulkier device and this is it. It feels more like a lil bike you can use sitting on the couch playing video games. You can set it up under a table to do work while you pedal. It tracks pedals? And time and calories? I don't know, not the selling point for me. The straps on the pedals don't make a huge difference but if you pedal barefoot you don't slip with or without the straps.”
“I love this foot bike. First of all it's pretty!! But, most importantly it is just what I needed to strengthen my leg after hip replacement surgery. I use it several times a day and afterwards I find that walking is much easier.”
“does what it's supposed to. i made it better when i removed the straps and used a lil wd40 to stop the squeaky noise it started making after 10k rotations. some minor annoying things is that there isn't a distance counter. and the resistance tensioner doesn't really work great. i cant get it to have much resistance even at the tightest setting. it's just easy light pedaling. also it didn't perfectly sit level on my hard wood floor. it used to have an annoying wobble but i've been able to fix this by using electrical tape and wrapping a few of the legs until it was stable and level. but it's worked well under my desk. i'm glad i've been able to get some activity and blood flowing while sitting at my desk for long durations. make sure it's set up in front of a wall or something to prop up against otherwise it's going to just pedal away from you. won't be any good if it's not able to prop up against something extra sturdy like a wall. it's the cheapest option on the market and you're getting what you pay for. it's not the best but it can be worth it if you make it work like i have.oh and another thing is the pedals have an opening where you can feel the metal washers or clips through the slit of the pedals if you're using this with no shoes on. it has an uncomfortable feeling that feels like it could cut your feet. i fixed this by wrapping electrical tape around the pedal covering the exposed slits.basically there are a bunch of quirks that you can fix and make better with easy small maintenance and mods.the only thing i can't do is add a distance counter to the digital display. they should replace count with distance. i want to know what the count conversion rate is. how many rotations is equivalent to 10000 steps.overall with my ability to make it work i find this purchase worth its cheap price. if you're not willing to do things to make it work then avoid this item. try another option that costs a little more.”
“The reason I give this a 3-star rating is because I believe I received a returned item. The product was just kind of thrown in a bag (inside a box), and the machine was held together by an untrimmed ziptie (most companies trim the tails on zipties since it looks tacky). The digital counter already had steps/minutes logged, which I initially thought was maybe because it was being moved/bumped around during transit. When I looked at the setup manual, however, it was instructing me on how to install the battery for the digital counter. Obviously the battery was already installed since it had data logged. The stopwatch on the digital counter is semi-faulty too: it sped up the time the faster I cycled. Pretty sure that's not how a normal watch works, but I was able to fix that part after resetting it.I'm disappointed about having ordered a new item only to have received a used item, but I do like the bike. There's no visible wear and tear on the machine, and nothing seems to be missing from my order. It's easy to use and was one of the less expensive models out there, so I plan on keeping it. Just wish it would have been brand new!”
“My arms have nerve damage and are weakened because of it. Tried regular weights and weight bearing exercise but that hurts rather than help to strengthen arms. This product works to keep them moving and toned without hurting damaged spine and nerves. Glad to find it.”
