“I've used steppers in gyms for decades and always wanted one at home, but they were too large and expensive so I just kept going to the gym. With the pandemic, that all changed, so I tried this out. Was surprised at the low cost. It works really well and is compact enough to hide away when not in use. Combining the resistance bands with stepping really amps up the workout! I have not had any issues with this device and have used it almost daily since it arrived. Only one thing you might consider: you need good balance to use this, because there is no handle. That's a plus for me, because I never used the hand rails on gym steppers except to get on/off. My balance is now even better than before.”
“With the shelter in place, I was looking to get something to vary my workouts a bit. I had been using a combination of exercise videos, walking in my backyard, jumping jacks in the backyard, Nintendo Switch (ARMS / Fitness Boxing), Nintendo Wii (Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, Punch Out) to get my body moving. But the videos and my backyard weren't all that interesting due to the lack of space in my backyard and house. The video games were good but I didn't want to solely rely on them.My objective was to get a low cost exercise machine that I would use semi-reguarly as a "warm up" and I would do some games on the side for a complete workout. The machine seemed ideal with the cost, the stepping and the resistance bands. The machine was easy to get setup as it was assembled. You needed to tighten the screw for the steps and attach the resistance bands and adjust the length. Once it was setup, I just started using it for about 15 minutes every other day. The resistance bands give me some light weight work while stepping which is great too.I have no complaints so far. Using the machine along with Fitness Boxing on my switch (I do about 25 minutes after 15 minutes of stepping) gives me a solid workout. I've had these type of machines before and they work fine. But I would suggest not pushing the machine too hard. Thus my light 15 minutes every couple of days or so works out fine. I'm not sure it's meant to be used for 30 to 60 minutes a day every day though I'm sure you can try that if you want to.”
“I use this gizmo daily, while working at home at my standing desk, as a way to keep moving. I had to fiddle with it a bit to get it at a tension that is comfortable and which my iPhone (which I keep in my pocket) will register as steps. I haven't had to adjust the tension but it does get a bit squeaky, which isn't great during teleconferences. I've been hitting all the moving parts with spray silicone about once every two weeks to keep it quiet. I found that my iPhone sometimes won't register it unless I walk around a bit first, make sure my step count is going up in the Health app, and then get on it. Then when I stop using it I have to redo that little routine. Seems silly, but it actually works out since I like to alternate between using this and just walking around normally, depending on whether I need to be on video, how much I'm talking, whether I'm using computer audio or my phone, etc. So all in all, this has been a tremendous help. I find with this that I'm far more active during work hours than I ever was at the office, and rarely have trouble reaching my movement goals. I saw the same manufacturer has a mini treadmill too, which I'm tempted to check out. For now though, this is doing the job.”
“I love this thing! You can get a great workout while watching tv. I have a bit of exercise equipment that are inexpensive and don't take a lot of room. Key last part, this takes almost no room at all. Maybe a 1 1/2 ft square! So nice. You can get really reactive too and step it out while watching your fav show. It's fairly light too.The only con that I have is l, though the band tension also great, I wish you could loosen it a little more to maybe get some shoulder presses or raises in (raise the roof style) while using the stepper. That's it. Very nice so far.”
“This little machine was fantastic until the squeaking began. I have done everything I can possibly think to do (flipped the chain, lubed the cable and pulley system, lubed the bolts) and it still squeaks to the point that I will not use it anymore for the sake of my sanity!Complete waste of money at this point and I'm so disappointed because I LOVED it. Like, 5,000 - 10,000 steps a day on this thing kind of love. But now, it sits in a corner. If I still had the box I'd ask for a replacement and pray that I just got a faulty one.”
“This thing makes you sweat. I wanted to get something while we are all at home during this covid situation just to jump on and get up from desk and move my body but this is a real workout. Easily gets heart rate to burning calorie rate of 130. Great workout for ten, twenty or thirty minutes! It's a complement to my sunny stationary bike.”
“This is the second piece of equipment I've purchased from Sunny Health. The other item was a well rated rower. Both of these items were in a good price range, but my issue is they don't create enough of a range of movement to be a real workout. I had a whole lot of trouble getting my heart rate over 100 beats a minute, which I can easily do if I walk up and down the hallway at a good pace. Wish I didn't waste my time and cash on this hunk of junk.”
“I have had over a thousand dollar elliptical which recently broke. I decided to buy this little product which seemed too in-expensive to be good. I was wrong. This product is easy to use, needs no assembly, and takes very little space to use. I purchased two once for each of my houses and place them next to my treadmill and use it alternatively. Won't need to buy and expensive and roomy elliptical. My hats off to the inventor of this simple great product.Recommendation: Offer it to space agencies for keeping astronauts in shape. It is light, easy to use, takes little space, and gives you a great workout. Thank you again for such a great invention and assembly.”
