“Ive had this 2wks and use it 3x a week, I start with 200 steps/climb each time I get on it. After day 1 The bottom gets really hot that I let it sit before storing it away. There's also a thumping sound when u step down. I've even put a then blanket under the steps but it's the machine it's not the noise of u touching the bottom. Overall it gives a good workout and sweat. Nothing major to report.”
“I bought this to increase my activity while working from home. When I first used it, it gave me terrible knee pain in the front of my knees. I tried it a couple of times, and it just HURT after using it. I figured out that I was taking too deep of steps on it - I did shallower steps and the knee pain post workout went away entirely. I found leaning forward slightly helps as well. I don't use the resistance bands because they honestly throw me off balance. This is a nice little machine to bring your heart rate up, but I definitely don't rely on it as my sole source of exercise.”
“I bought this a few days ago and already have 1500 steps on it! I did a lot of research on these kinds of equipment and chose this because it doesn't have the twisting feature. I have a Sunny upright bike and I love it, so I figured I would be pleased with another one of their products and I was correct! No assembly required. It's quiet and the tension is adjustable. It's easy to move around and store if needed. I use this on my breaks and on long, boring virtual meetings or phone calls while at work (from home). Highly recommended!!”
“So stiff. And you can't really change the intensity. You have to wear shoes while doing this and you are in constant fear that you will almost fall forward. I got this to support my friend it doesn't go to the gym, but then I ended up returning it because the elliptical is so much better. This has a real loud click every time you hit the floor. That's the most annoying part”
“I still like this and will use it because I can't afford to be wasteful but after a month it was squeaking so loudly I could only drown the sound with the tv on super loud and it had to be music. I WD40 it but it squeaks daily anyway. It's REALLY annoying. This product is so easy to move out of the way and adjust difficulty levels. I absolutely love it. The resistance bands are very resistant - might just be that I'm a wimp, but I can't use them very much. I use wrist weights instead. If you don't intend on using the resistance bands and truly struggle with keeping your balance, this machine not be for you. If you're fine at finding your balance this equipment is perfect.”
“I like the stepper. I wish the stepper would have a dial or adapter where you could adjust the steps to make them high or low. I needed more range of motion. The stepper doesn't go deep at all, I know it's a mini, I just expected a little more depth. I like that it has resistance you can control. It's not a bad thing to have sitting around and work out on from time to time.”
“It's just the first day I've had it so I'll probably update later. Can't give five stars yet: I'm an avid hiker and regular walker so I got the Sunny stepper to use in extreme weather since I'm getting older. After five minutes my thighs started to complain. I thought okay I'm going to love this thing. If you're not used to this type of exercise, I suggest you start slowly and work you're way up. If you have balance problems like me, use the back of a chair or wall. Most of all don't give up! Some sore muscles mean you doing it right. (because muscles are lazy but we are not) Happy stepping!”
“I use this every day to break up the monotony if sitting at a desk and working from home. I will get up and walk 50 steps every hour. If you can't get outside or don't have the space for a treadmill or bike, this is a good compromise. But the arm bandsâ€â€what the heck?! They are incredibly difficult! I'm pretty strong, and these are tough! I added some small D rings to the bottom to give me some length. It kind of helps...Don't expect a great upper body workout with this machine. But I would still get this one over the one without bands as it gives more options.”
