“I work from home and this has been a nice item to have nearby. Every couple of hours I'll do 5-10 minutes on this so that I don't end up sitting for too long at a time. Takes up very little room and is easy to move around. Since there's no handle to hold on to, using it and maintaining balance takes a little to get used to but is great once you have the knack of it. Would recommend.”
“Do Not Buy this. At first I Loved it, I used it everyday. I've not even had it 2 months. The tension knob will loosen up when you are using it and then the pedals began to squeak with every little move, mine is so bad I can't stand it now. Sounds like a gaggle of very loud geese at my feet. I am very disappointed. Now I will need to find something else to work out on.”
“I shouldn't have done it, but the cheap in me ordered this stepper for $3.00 less because the box was damaged, according to TRAKK. The real story was that someone else had tried to assemble it and totally broken it. Pieces of plastic were falling out of the box. The LCD monitor could not be assembled and definitely didn't work, and I couldn't get the steps to function. You get what you pay for, but it was only $3.00 less!! I do like the stepper, but will buy it new once my refund comes in.”
“This compact stepper is perfect for small spaces.. like a 1 bedroom apartment, studio, or your office! In my included photo, I place the machine next to my personal paper shredder so that you can see that it's not that big. The machine came already assembled. The only thing that I had to do was pull the safety tab from the battery compartment of the digital display, put the display in its designated spot on the machine, attached the resistance bands, and adjust the step height. Instructions are super simple to follow and the machine itself is easy to use. You should find an extra battery for the display in the box as well which was great of them to include. The machine weighs about 14.2 lbs, so I can easily move it around. I love that it has a display which will tell you the number of steps, the length of time that the steps are done in, and how many calories have been burned. The display powers on either when the red button on the display is pushed or when the steps are put in motion, and it will auto shut off after not being used for 4 minutes. You can easily pick up where you left off by powering on the display, and it retains the info until you reset it. Resetting the display is easy - just press the red button for a few seconds until the display resets. The instructions do advise you to place an exercise mat under the machine to protect your floors. I use this machine every day while I watch TV, and I can see toning in my lower abdomen, thighs, and bottom from it. I do have to admit that I don't use the resistance bands very often, so I just lay those to the side and do the steps, but I do like that I have the option to use them. I am NOT an exercise enthusiast - I'm getting older & was advised to be active at least 30 minutes/day, so this was an easy solution for me. The ONLY improvement that I would make to this machine is having a lighted display. I have a hard time seeing the display while I'm using the machine because it's somewhat dark.”
“I just replaced my first stepper that I purchased over 7 years ago. I used it a lot (6 days a week each winter) and was thrilled and impressed that it lasted that long. It's easy to use and if your not sure about your balance just place a chair beside yourself for something to hold on to. I use the resistance bands, while stepping, for an upper body workout 2x per week. I love that it's easy to stash in a closet while not in use. It comes fully assembled other than securing the resistance bands. I have purchased 2 others for family and have recommended it to many other people. For this price you can't go wrong even if you don't use it much.”
“I've been working from home due to the Coronvirus, so I haven't been as active. I now complete 12k steps daily on this little thing, and sometimes use the resistance bands for some arm workouts. Everything about it is great! It was very easy to assemble. At first, it was squeaking a little when I used it for more than 30 minutes or so, so I sprayed a little bit of oil on the bottom parts. It doesn't squeak anymore, and it's super smooth. I love this little thing, it's become a part of my daily routine!”
“This gets 4 stars but would be 5 if the counter on it worked properly. The electronics work and count but you can't see it correctly unless you press down on the front of the faceplate. It needs to be held down for it to be visible. Other than that it's easy and simple to use. Comes with new battery. Light weight. The bands are a great addition if you want to add in some arm workouts. There's a knob on the bottom to adjust tension on the steps. Is it worth $40? For the most part yes. Good addition to home gym.”
“I have had to replace one bolt already that broke the first 3 months of using this product. I purchased this item May 2019. Replaced one bolt myself (which was not easy, had to un-weld it and weld it back together) . Now about. A month ago, ANOTHER bolt snaps. There's no way I can fix this one. (Which is why I haven't written a review yet because I was seeing if I were able to..) This is ridiculous. Disappointed is an understatement. This product isn't even a year old yet.. 2 snapped bolts. Awful. Attached is the bolt already replaced and the new one that snapped.”
