“We absolutely love this stair step. The straps add a lot of movability and freedom and we love how it counts steps, time, AND calories. Not only that but it was so easy to assemble and understand, and we are able to move it to whatever spot in the house we want with ease. It was also the most affordable option by far. Highly recommend!”
“Just buy a different brand. This one is not quality at all. The steps feel like the plastic will break at any moment and I'm only 120 lbs. The stepper hurts my knees even though other similar models from other brands do not. My legs almost rub each other with each step and I am a size 0. Anyone with any leg fat at all will have major thigh rub. The pedals squeak with every step and leave metal shavings on the floor even after I oiled all the mechanisms. Finally, the only reason this stepper is getting good reviews is because the company promises to send you additional free equipment (a thigh machine) after you post a positive review. I tried it and 2 months later never got any additional equipment or even a response email from the company. Don't believe the positive reviews. This model is crap and I ended up buying a different brand for only $10 more and it is a million times better. I gave this one away for free curbside. If you decide to buy it anyway, here are some tips:1. I recommend setting it to medium resistance. High resistance resulted in picking my feet up off the pedals to stomp up and down, which makes it unsafe.2. Don't attempt to work out in your socks, there's no lip at the back of the foot panel so if your feet slide from lack of traction you could fall because this model is not very stable.3. If you have a very large foot (aka mens size 13 ) the foot pedals may be too short for you on this model based on how it fit my boyfriend's foot.4. If you're hoping it will fit under your bed or couch, it would need over 8" of clearance height. It's other dimensions are approximately 12" x 17". It's very lightweight and easy to move though.5. If you suffer from big thigh chub rub, you will probably need some kind of spandex or compression shorts to use this.”
“Hokay, easy to assemble? Sure, worked right out of the box. Sturdy? Ummmmm...there is a cable that goes around a wheel on the bottom and that is what makes the pedals alternate up and down. Without it, neither pedal will rise. Ask me how I know. Did you ask? The blasted wheel fell out five minutes after I pulled the unit out of the box as I was moving it to another location. I had to work to get it back in, and to be honest, I'm still not sure how I did it, but I did and now it is working WONDERFULLY. I flipping love this.I keep it near the kitchen and hop on when I'm microwaving something, or waiting for something to boil. Personally, I'm not sure I could do sustained periods on this just because it's a very small range of motion, but who knows? Maybe for a TV episode or something like.Any reviews that say the arm bands are too loose are spot on. I'm 5'2â€, 145 lbs and have to have my hands up to shoulder level before I feel any resistance at all. I solved it by looping one of my resistance bands around the base and will do bicep curls, tricep extensions, lateral/front shoulder raises, etc. I probably wouldn't have bought it if not for this lovely virus that has so many places shut down, but I'm glad I did buy it. It's been a great addition to my home and motivator to move.I am disappointed that this is clearly a recycled unit that someone else must have returned, based on strategically placed scuff marks, it absolutely was not brand new.”
