TRAKK Fitness Mini Stepper w/ Reviews

3.8 Rating 172 Reviews
This is a fantastic product for getting great exercise in small places. During Covid, I've built a home office and migrated to it full-time. Being somewhat sequestered and with the heat mounting here in Arizona, I was getting less exercise. I said this many stepper up in front of my standup desk and I use it all the time. I haven't had any problems with overheating, stickiness or discomfort. I can easily slide it under my desk when I'm not using it and pull it back out when I want to get some exercise. It's extremely well-built. I like the digital counter to see how many steps I've done as well as other settings. I investigated a treadmill, stationary bike and rowing machine, but none of those would work in a home office situation where I wanted to get exercise while I'm working. This is the perfect solution and I highly recommend it.

I love finding new ways to exercise. I've seen similar steppers before but I had never used one. This stepper is slightly heavy, but doesn't not take up much space. It comes assembled, but you may have to adjust the knob underneath a bit, until the peddles are aligned properly. Mine took a few tries until I had them just right. The instruction manual wasn't entirely clear on this, but I finally figured it out. It should be adjusted to where when you step on one pedal the other one goes up, and vice versa. The knob also adjustable the amount of resistance. There are four little green feet that you attach so that it can't be stable when you are on it. It comes with a set of resistance bands that you can attach through the tiny holes, one on either pedal (near the front), again I didn't really see much about that in the instruction manual, bit it was easy to figure out. There is a tint step counter toward the top. It would be nice it that were bigger or would light up.You can use shoes, but for acupressure effects, it's better to use it with bare feet. There are grooves along each pedal, in green, that are set under each foot. I've been using it barefoot and I like the way it feels underneath. I actually thought it might be uncomfortable, but it really isn't.Inside the manual what you do are are tips, the names of each piece, as well as some exercise tips. You can work out your legs, buttocks, waist, and even arms. I think it also helps a bit with balance. It's not very noisy, which is a definite plus, since I've been using it in the room while my baby naps.It is fairly simple to use after you try it for the first time. You can start off with a few minutes a day, gradually increasing the duration and resistance. I honestly didn't feel like I was doing much the first few times I used it, but could feel it in my legs later toward the end of the day.I am looking forward to seeing results in a few weeks, after using it for a few minutes daily.I give it four stars since it is a pretty nice product. I only wish it was a bit more compact, and could slide under my bed. It's a little bulky. Also wish the instructions had been slightly more clear.Other than that, it's a nice product to own.

Other than the non-functioning digital monitor, it is a decent mini stepper. Not happy with that. Now I am search high a low for a pedometer (at additional expense) that may or may not "... showcase the distance and time to keep you focused to achieving any type of personal fitness goals." (PER THE TRAKK WEB). I DO have the option of returning it but decided against that since there is no assurance that the replacement's monitor would work. Customer service has been non existent. I had emailed them two months ago with an inquiry. Got a case number and a "courtesy" email back saying the individual was traveling but no follow up since then.

First of all, the tread on the steps are extremely sharp and as a result, you MUST wear shoes--socks alone will not protect your feet. Also, something snapped in it after less than 2 weeks and while it still worked technically, the steps shook/vibrated, so I was worried it would get worse or eventually cause me to fall. The shocks were also extremely squeaky and required regular application of WD-40 after just a few uses. I would never recommend or purchase again. I returned this item.

This little step machine has been pretty good at helping me to get my cardio in rather than having to resort to running or a more expensive machine. I wish the exercise bands were a bit longer (can be adjusted, but not much) and after about 10-15mins of using this machine the hydraulic cylinders get hot and will start to squeak. But for the price, the fact i didn't really need to assemble anything, and it's ease of use I'm glad to have it during these unprecedented times.

I bought this for work. I have an ergo desk and that can be raised and lowered. I work 10 hour days and find it hard to get to the gym after work. I was honestly surprised at how sturdy this is. I use this minimum 5 minutes and hour for a total of 50-60 minutes a day. I have not attached the arm bands yet but the stepper it self has been great and I can feel it working for sure. You have to adjust the tension on it to get it to where you want it to be.

I bought this since all of the gyms are closed and I needed something to keep me moving. The resistance bands and a little annoying, I wish they were a little longer. But other than that I love this stepper. I have it at full residence and after ten minutes I can feel my legs burn. I get off do 50 jumping jacks and then get back on. After 45 minutes I burn about 500 calories. I keep track of everything on my Apple Watch but the little screen on the stepper keeps your count until you reset it.

I hurt my ankle and am a long time runner. I'm used to running 4-5 miles per day. I found this little machine and thought I'd try it since I can't really run right now. This thing kicks my ass! I LOVE it! It's easy to use, easy to move around and it's a full body work-out. You can't beat the price as well - you'd easily spend this within the first few months at a gym. I do about 30-40 minutes of this before work while in the comfort of my own home, watching TV in my living room. Great little machine!
