TRAKK Fitness Mini Stepper w/ Reviews

So my friend purchased right before I did. Hers didn't work. Then mine, which was gift, also didn't work. My friend did not have success reaching the company, Neither did I. She sent hers back since they did not respond to her. Finally we thought maybe it's just the battery. Tried to get a replacement battery. The battery only comes in packs of 6 or 12. Tried again to reach the company with zero success. Very poor customer service. The gift receiver decided to just purchase the 6 battery pack, with the hope it would work since she liked the item. Thankfully it was just a matter of a dead battery.

Just received mine, and put it through a 40 min workout (for me, about 500 cal) i was turned to this product from a Remington James video on YT, and the product is fairly underwhelming. It's loud, incredibly stiff and creaky. I only really need it for a few weeks before I head back to college (and regular access to a gym) so i'm hoping it survives that long. The thing gets H O T if you use it longer than 15 minutes, so I suggest either doing multiple short workouts a day or be prepared to give the hydraulics time to cool down! all in all, not bad for $50 but seeing as how it may last less than a month, maybe put that money towards a gym membership if that's an option

I really like using the stair climber at the gym but I don't have the room for one in my place. This is a great little substitute, I am bigger woman and was worried about the sturdiness but it is perfect, I didn't feel like it was going to fail me or I would fall but it has worked perfectly. I can seem to figure out how to use the counter. This is a great machine to use for your legs.

I bought this to replace my Sunny Health and Fitness model after its cable broke and am glad I gave this one a try. It is a very solid little piece of equipment and I appreciate that it comes with lubricant and wrenches so I don't have to guess what to use for maintenance.I wish the treads on the foot petals were a little more pronounced and am glad I saved the resistance bands from the Sunny because they have foam grips and these are hard plastic so are not quite as comfortable to hold but are much more securely attached through holes that are actually part of the unit's frame rather than rings that are attached to the frame.I also love that the adjustment knob is on the back of the unit rather than the front which was very difficult to get to on the Sunny.I really didn't expect there to be much difference between this and the Sunny's performance but this far exceeded my expectations because it is amazingly quiet and smooth unlike the Sunny which makes it more comfortable to use even though the resistance seems slightly stronger.Like the Sunny it's weight capacity is actually 220 pounds rather than the 300 the product description states so I think TRAKK should correct that.I've only had it for a few days so I expect it to squeak at some point but every time I'm on it I am still amazed at how quiet it is and my cats who would hurry out of the room while I used the Sunny are happy to lie right beside me while I'm using this one so we're all quite happy with it.

It constantly squeaks even with the oil added. It makes some clicking noises too. I haven't had this stepper for long and it already seems like it is going to fall apart.

I almost fall backwards so many times. When I try to stand straight while using it, it kept tilting over and I fell off the steps. Not sure if it's because I'm using it wrong or not. There's no video directions of how to correctly exercise with this, which I find inconvenient. I found that a lot of comments have complained about how it could mess up your knee if you use it for too long. I know that if you use it with the wrong body posture, that could happen. The “adjustable” part is only for the height of the steps, which I don't recommend anyone to adjust without proper knowledge of body angles. Some comments say that you can use it while sitting. I have tried and a normal table is not high enough nor have enough space for you to exercise and not hit your knee with the table even if I adjust the steps to the lowest it can be. I wouldn't say that it's impossible because some people might be able to work it out, but I would say it's not for everyone.I can feel muscle pain in my legs after use so I assume that it works well. Quite convenient to use it while watching TV.
