The vibration is subtle and pleasant, and I am sure it can help in recovery as well.This is not the first heated shoulder wrap I own. The other (more expensive) ones, only provide heat and are not as comfortable. This one can be easily adjusted and does not feel heavy and awkward. And the massaging function is a great addition.
