“I'm using this item for my torn rotator cuff, torn ligament, and 2 torn muscles in my right shoulder. I Am having problems using the remote control, I actually think it's not functioning properly, because when I direct it towards the wrap it doesn't come on at all. “I purchased this heating pad after shoulder surgery. I was hesitant as people complained about the smell. Yes, it smells. I can live with it. I have not idea if the smell will dissipate with time. There are six temperature setting labelled as colors. Red is 100% down to green at 50% temperature. They should really be relabeled as well done down to rare. I set the temperature and the timer to 30 minutes as I wanted comfort to be able to fall asleep. I woke up sometime after 30 minutes and the heating pad was still going. When I took the heating pad off I had blisters on my arm below my shoulder. My shirt must have rode up and exposed my skin. But second degree burns? How hot did these thing get? I would hate to see how hot red gets! Other than the timer and the mislabeled temperature settings, the pad did work. So if all you want is continuous heat, this would wok for you.”
“This is great. A tad bit difficult to put on yourself if you're having shoulder problems but with assistance it works great. It definitely gets warm. I don't like how loud it is however.”
“Was very disappointed that the heating element continued but the massager did not work after the first day. Followed all of the troubleshooting but still could not get it to work.”
“Disappointed, as it doesn't fit the shoulder, and it the massager vibration part is only about the size of a half dollar in one spot which massages only one very small section of the upper arm, not the shoulder or traps at all, zero traps.”
“This heating pad/ massaging arm cuff has really helped with the dull aches and pain from my shoulder which I broke a few ago. It is a bit difficult to put on but once you figure it out it isn't too bad. Highly recommend”
