“I work nights at a desk job and was rapidly becoming a zombie; no amount of sleep left me feeling rested and after quitting smoking (again) abt a yr ago, the weight was piling on. I keep this under my desk, (make sure to measure first), and pedal while working or shopping or watching a movie. I immediately noticed an energy boost; now I only need a few hrs of solid sleep during the day to feel refreshed. Assembly was a breeze and tools are even included. I have to mention also that I only use it sitting down; I'm not sure why anyone would try it standing up b/c it's just not stable enough IMHO. Make sure to keep it oiled too; mine started to catch in the right pedal after a couple of weeks of daily use but nothing a little grease couldn't fix. I told my mom abt it and had to buy her one too! lol”
“Great for at home cardio fitness suitable to one's lifestyle. The set up was ok. I had to look online though for video set up instructions. There's a sit down workout instruction method as well. I personally stand and use the elliptical near the wall or my dresser drawer for better balance and mobility. I actually get a full cardio workout at a steady pace while trying to maintain balance since it moves around a little bit. Use the elliptical with that in mind and gradually work to a comfortable yet steady pace. If sitting down, the method is the same but the clock just gets switched upside down and the elliptical gets turned around according to instructions. It takes practice while standing especially going on and stepping off the elliptical too.”
“I L-O-V-E this thing! I have recommended this to everyone I know. I have placed this in-front of me while I work and it helps with my circulation while sitting all day at work. It is quiet enough to use while on the phone or while having a zoom meeting. I have also used it as an elliptical and it works perfectly.”
“Wanted something to use to get movement in my knees, without any impact, following stem cell injections. Obviously smaller than a full-size elliptical, yet a sturdy machine with all the features I would have hoped for. Got the idea to get this after seeing a similar product on infomercials. But this was considerably less money. And yet it's heavy duty. I use it sitting down in front of the TV, so time on it passes without thinking. It is strong enough to use standing up, although you would need a chair or something similar to steady yourself from losing your balance.Only thing I would like to have seen included would be some sort of straps to keep your feet in one spot when the machine is used in a sitting position. 'Pedals' are far larger than I imagined after seeing it online, and my feet slide forward constantly. I have to pull my feet back from time to time, preferably without stopping the reps.On the whole, however, I highly recommend this device.”
“I'm a new mom with a now almost 5 month old and I haven't lost any of the dreaded baby weight except what came off naturally. I just can't find the time to work out between work, pumping during work, and caring for my LO. On top of that, I work from home and my commute is a matter of a couple steps. I used to walk/run outside over lunch (pre-baby) but the winter weather and pumping has squashed that idea. I got this to hopefully get moving and lose the baby weight. All that said, I hope to update this review as I go.I got the Stamina yesterday and it was really easy to put together. It was heavy but manageable. I have a standing desk on the way so I can use this standing, but for today I am using it to "cycle" under my desk. So far so good. There is a slight clicking noise but I ordered some 3 in 1 lubricant that I hope remedies that. I already feel it in my hamstrings and a little in my abs. I'm not sweating, but I'm also not really pushing at it hard or anything. I can say, I was much hungrier at lunch time :)”
“EXCELLENT in every way! After having complete knee replacement 1 1/2 years ago, it is important that I continue therapy to keep my knee conditioned. I am a professional driver, driving across the USA and not returning home for several weeks at a time, and though I have a full-sized (Nordic Trak) elliptical machine at home, I needed something I could use while traveling. The Stamina 55-610 InMotion is a perfect fit for my needs, as I can use this during my down-time while on the job and it takes up little space...again, EXCTLY what I need. Now, one can't expect this compact machine to provide the same range-of-motion as does the full-sized elliptical, but it is more than adequate as positioning oneself at different heights from the pedals allows more/less range-of-motion and the resistance can be tightened or loosened to accomplish your needs. PLUS there is a an odometer which shows the distance you "travel." =)”
“I bought this mini-elliptical to go with the stand-up desk I also purchased on TRAKK (http://www.TRAKK.com/gp/product/B00S9Y4UXM?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00). I love the desk, but even with a Sky mat underneath me, I couldn't help but feel like I needed to move more. I didn't want to be stuck on a treadmill all day, but still wanted to move and burn some calories on occasion while at my desk. This works perfectly for my needs! It is a little heavier to move around than I expected, but I am able to slide it to the back of the room and pull it under my stand-up desk during the day to use without too much effort. It even fits over my Sky mat if I am too lazy to move it out of the way. It is very quiet and no one notices I am using it. I am able to type and do some spreadsheet work while on the elliptical, but this can be a challenge. I am hoping to be able to use the elliptical most of the day over standing or sitting. Right now, I use it for about 30 minutes at a time, mostly during meetings. The extra movement does get my blood flowing but I don't have any resistance on, so I don't expect to break a sweat or anything. Also, I have noticed that my feet are not as sore in the evenings. The extra movement seems to be doing the trick! I am not sure it is actually burning as many calories as it claims to, but I know some movement is better than not moving at all! Overall, I would buy this again.”
“This little machine proved to be far more than I expected. It arrived very quickly, was not too difficult to put together with the detailed instructions, and is rugged and appears to be very well built. And Wow! but does it give a good workout! The way it is constructed, when standing, I feel like I am always going downhill, but it is a downhill that is very strenuous. It really works my calves and legs, but is a little tough on my arthritic knees and hips. So far, 5 minutes is about as long as I can go. But even a few minutes is good cardio with this thing. It is a little difficult to mount and balance on, and I definitely recommend having a chair nearby to use as a support for those times, and especially if you feel your balance slipping. Even with that, I am very pleased with this exerciser and recommend it highly.”
