TRAKK Cryo Ball Reviews

4.3 Rating 190 Reviews
Dear God, how can something so simple be so effective? The ball stays cold and rolls easily. I freeze it out of the container because it's easier to clean and i don't want to hold onto something freezing. $40 seems a bit steep, but i paid $20 each for ice packs that get warm in half the time and don't work as well, so it seems fair. Container has a great grippy surface, and this seemingly simple contraption is helping reduce the swelling of a torn tendon better than everything else I've tried.

this feels great and is a great concept, but the only way i can get relief from it is if i have someone else do it for me. not a total waste because my husband will roll me out when i need him to, but if you live alone or plan on using this yourself - good luck!

This was the worst $50 I spent on trying to obtain pain relief. I'm lucky is the metal ball stays cold for 15 minutes. Besides the lack of temperature control, the ball is too big to actually release any trigger points on my body. It takes up too much surface area. And the base is too large for my hand to hold, so I'm unable to provide any pressure to force the ball to glide over trigger points. It's also too large for my daughters, my caregivers, to hold properly. Maybe this product is meant for large men, but it's definitely a waste for us average size women.

If you have an athlete - you must have this! Better than the freezing a Dixie cup of water, can be packed for travel, freezes quickly. Penetrates and helps healing.

This is great. Functions as two products...roller and "ice bath/cryo". We use this after training workouts and races. Only minor complaint is that the frost/ice builds up on the ball and it you put any pressure on it when rolling, the ball doesn't want to spin. The lighter you press, then it will start to roll again. We just try to roll it on clothes first before a bare leg and it gets most of the frost off.

I had high expectations for this as I was tired of using an ice cup and making a mess everywhere. The thought behind this is great, but unfortunately I did not get the numbing cold affect that you get from using an ice cup. I also wanted to use it on my elbow and just have it roll on the table without holding it, but I had to remove it from the holder in order to get the ball to roll enough. All in all I just wish it was colder and more comparable to an ice cup style solution.

I have a lot of joint pain. I like cold therapy so when I saw this advertised i figured i'd try it. It delivers on every claim including how long it stays cold after taking it out of the freezer. It's easy to use, and can be used all around joints that are hurting.. I use it on shoulders, knees and neck. My wife uses it on hands and feet!

A little clunky to use for my hand, but it's awesome for relief! Holds the temperature for a long time. Great on large muscle areas like my back and legs. I'd love a smaller version for hands.
