“I have been going to PT for my foot, which hurts a lot. My PT spends 30 minutes releasing tightness and alleviating pain. Then 30 minutes of exercises. Afterwards, this icy ball is rolled around on the areas she released and areas I really worked during the exercises. It provides such an amazing relief! So much so, I purchased my own, hence this review. Lol. It works far better (and longer than ice packs (which I quit using on my foot). I highly recommend! It is simple. Open the box. Put the ball inside the container. Pop it in the freezer. When ready, pull it out and roll it on the area needed. It stays cold a long time, then refreeze. Happy healing!”
“ice works well for pain relief (ice)this product except that overrated price and size is not big nor small also it seems cheap except that silver balli had smaller ice ball, it works better for me and cheap”
“For normal bruises or overworked muscles, RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression and elevation) is the recommended immediate treatment. So I was as always putting ice in baggies wrapped in cloth - then, they leak. This steel ball stays cold for a long time and doesn't drip melting ice water everywhere. I keep it in the freezer so when an accident happens I can put it in an athletic sock, and start treating minor “ouches' immediately. (The ball will stay cold for longer than”
“I appreciate the cold effects but with the ball moving so loosely kn the plastic holder, myself and another person I know has been pinched when rolling on. It's a twist off holder and tends to become loose after using for some minutes. Not sure if it was just the one I received but this has been my experience. My family and I are big fans of cryotherapy and always open to trying new things.”
“My elderly parents deal with leg cramps in the middle of the night on a weekly basis. Nothing has helped them more than this product. Until we can find a cure, I'm glad we found this.”
“This is a good product. It helps ease some of my pain but boy is it realllllly cold! I usually just left it out and it was cold enough for me. It's harder to hold for people who have pain in their hands. I have ehlers danlos syndrome so I have pain everywhere sometimes. This helps work out muscle knots and helps ease my pain and I would definitely recommend it.”
“Wow, great product for treating, & icing injuries without the mess of using ice! Not to mention, that this stays cold for a long time. We keep the silver ball in a Ziploc bag in the freezer, so it's ready to use when needed.”
