“Eslyyds Eye Massager is a massager that can provide a relaxing experience that can help with something as simple as 15 minutes of self care to something more serious such as a headache. The unit is very well built, sturdy, and cleverly designed so that it can fold in half. This thoughtful feature makes it easy to store in a bedside table or in a carry-on bag or backpack when you are on the go. The adjustable band is wide making it capable to provide a comfortable fit even if your hair is in a ponytail or in a perm. The manufacturer uses a soft velvet material so it feels really cozy when you are wearing the massager. There are also three satin eye covers, a USB connection cord, and one drawstring travel bag included in the order. The eye massager can provide a hot compression, air pressure, and connection to Bluetooth when in use. I found the instruction manual gave some basic instruction but I found I learned more by playing around and experimenting with pressing the button to see what worked best for my needs. I found that the massager helped me out a couple of times. As a blepharitis sufferer, hot compresses are a staple in caring for this condition. This eye massager makes it effortless to just lay down and have a constant heat without having to worry about hot towels getting cold or potentially making a mess. I also did not have to worry about the unit getting too hot to cause any injury to my eyes. It was the ideal heat for me. It helped me when my eyes were tired from the countless hours I spend each week in front of a computer. As many positives as I had experienced with this unit, there are also some negatives I will mention. The placement of the button is not ideal and since you have to hold the power button down for several seconds to either turn it on or off. I usually found myself starting up the unit, selecting what I wanted - massage intensity, heat or no heat- and then putting it on. I thought this was cumbersome and something I did not look forward to. When it comes to sound, it is loud and noticeable. Whether it is the hiss from the air pressure releasing or the buzz when the unit is in the middle of a pressure massage, it is distracting either way. Thus the connection to the music via Bluetooth is vital. After the first time you pair the eye massager Bluetooth to your cell phone, the unit will remember this information and immediately connect it the next time you use it. Personally when I experience migraines, I can't handle light or sounds as it just makes it worse. Thus, the music would bother me as much as the normal activity sounds from the massager. So sadly I would not be able to use this unit if I were experiencing a migraine. The unit will remain on for 15 minutes per session. When it comes to charging the unit, it is very simple to plug the accompanying USB cord into the slot located in the nose area of the massager. It takes 2 hours to fully charge the unit. When it comes to price, I think that it is fair. Overall, this is a fine unit but I feel that there may be a better option available on TRAKK.”
