“I initially bought this because I liked the idea of not being plugged into a wall or having to continually reheat in the microwave. Great idea, bad execution. First of all, it barely gets warm even on high setting. Secondly, the actually heating portion is extremely small, 7in x 3in, just at the back of the neck. If you are wanting some extra warmth while out and about, maybe it will work for you, but the price is very steep for the actual benefit of the product. Unfortunately, I will be returning.”
“I liked that the scarf came beautifully packaged and was well made and soft. Very comfortable to wear. I could wear it tight or loose.Three settings: high, medium and low. I mostly used the medium heat and could easily toggle to a different setting if required. Easy to use and everything was as the product description said. I wore it loosely around the house and pulled it tight when I took a walk outside. I also wrapped it around my waist which added soothing heat to my lower back. The heat shuts off after 45 minutes but can easily be turned back on. I was able to do this 5 times until the charge ran out. I recharged the pack overnight by simply plugging into a USB wall socket. Two other electronic devices can be charged while the pack is charging but I never used that feature. As a retiree, the printing on the instructions is a little too small for my liking but apart from that it is a very nice item and I would definitely recommend it.”
“I have tried a couple of neck warmers to ease arthritis. Too bulky. What I like about Akaso is how incredibly soft and lightweight it is. You can walk around, do chores or whatever while wearing. Rechargeable battery is great. I wish I could dial up the heat. It is warm enough to soothe and ease pain. I'm just used to a heating pad that gets much hotter. All in all a great product.Above is the review I wrote shortly after using the product. Unfortunately the rechargeable battery no longer charges.”
“I had to write this product as one star because it is so confusing to try and get together. One would think it would just be a heat source slipped into the scarf as shown in the picture there are no instructions on how to turn it on where to put it how the heat goes up etc. I at least got the heat pack to heat up a little bit and it did not feel hot enough at all”
“I crushed my heel in a car accident and it has been reconstructed. I've been dealing with intense pain for several years. I manipulate this heating pad to cover my heel and elevate it. It helps to sooth my heel after a long day.”
“I like that it wraps your neck like a scarf, applying the heat to where it needs to. I like the convenient placing of the on button and the 3 heat selectors. It works as advertised which is saying something these days.”
“Most heating pads are too big and bulky for easing neck pain. This one allows me to go to the kitchen, get a cup of coffee and return to my recliner without having without removing my heating pad. I was very much surprised that the small removable battery could be used to recharge my cellphone. It's hurricane season. There's a nasty storm in the Gulf. If the power goes out, my old electric heating pad will not work. It's nice to have back up battery power.”
