“Recently I've been having extreme pain in my neck & was diagnosed with DDD. So, I began using an old school neck heating pad...you know the ones with the long cord. I wanted something that wasn't so stiff & conformed to my neck better...then I found this. Not only does this conform nicely around my neck, but I can move around freely, while still providing the needed heat. The design is great, lightweight & the power bank charges quickly.I highly recommend this & will definitely be purchasing another for travel.”
“This heated neck wrap is great! It is very soft and comfortable to wear. It has a loop on one side to allow the other end to slip through and hold it in place. The best part is that it's rechargeable, so I can wear it while I'm moving around and doing other things. The heat lasts around 2 hours on high, longer on medium and low. The control is easy to operate and color-coded to indicate the mode and/or heat level. When first turned on, it will enter a 'preheat' mode, where it uses high heat to warm up, then reduces to low after it's warm. You can override this and select either high, medium, or low. This is a great product, and I am very happy with it.”
“I bought this for the convenience of having battery operated. It's not nearly as effective as my heated corn bags for my neck. But still not a bad option when you are driving and don't have many choices. Glad I bought it but wish it was a little hotter.”
“I've got some minor arthritis in my neck and it's hard to find a heating pad that wraps snugly. This does that and there's no cords, so I can wear it around the house and even at the office. I love this heating pad!!”
“I received this for Christmas. I've used it at least 4 days a week since then. It's soft and comfortable and helps relieve my neck pain. My only disappointment is that after only a month of use, the battery only lasts 20- 30 minutes on the high setting before needing to be recharged.”
“First, I'm not sure if I believe what the ad says about tourmaline and infrared rays, nor about it emitting iron (did they mean ions?)I just wanted something that would wrap around my neck and keep it warm. I have had 3 cervical vertebrae removed, replaced, and fused together with a titanium bridge, so my neck is often in pain.I liked the idea that it was weighted and could be wrapped like a scarf to hold close to my skin. The actuality is that the weight does not seem to be very significant, it really doesn't feel much heavier than other neck warmers I've used, and it doesn't hold very tight since the shape and texture of the material do not let you make a tight knot.As regards the heating factor, I found it to be weak even at the highest heat level. Perhaps this is why my battery lasted longer than expected; it wasn't getting enough power to heat to the maximum.Still, it's not bad if you're looking for a small amount of heat and if you intend to use it while sitting or lying in place. In other words, I'd rate it as average.Review of: UTK Neck Heating Pad”
