TRAKK Muscle Stimulator Reviews

4.6 Rating 132 Reviews
If I could leave a ZERO starts review, I would. The quality of the items is very poor. It cannot be returned through TRAKK because it contains a battery. I contacted the seller directly through email as directed and have not heard anything back from them. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY BUYING THIS ITEM!

This unit works on sore muscles. For the price it is good. I've only used it for a week and it seems very cheaply made so I will see how it holds up. Easy to use, but it is difficult to read the screen because it is small and dark. Also, the machine goes back to the original setting after you turn it off rather than staying at the current setting you were at. Not a huge deal but if you like a particular setting you have to scroll through every time. I also have the Avon Model AS8016 and recommend this one since it seems better quality, easily readable screen, and I think the stimulation is better on my muscles. Both are made in China of course, unfortunately.

I have a rare genetic disorder that causes severe joint damage and as a result, I have been a wheelchair user for many years. I bought this to help with my chronic pain and it has worked out better than I expected. I don't understand the science behind it, but it cuts my pain in half and sometimes it gets rid of it completely. I love that it can also be set to strengthen my muscles instead of working for pain relief. For obvious reasons, I am limited on what kind of exercise I can do. It's very nice that I can use this to target specific muscles.

Useeshine thank you so much for this. With just two uses of this basically before bed has helped a super bad elbow i have had for years. I set it to mix mode and i get the best of all. The hits of the unit can be very very strong so beware and make sure you work your way to your level. My pain tolerance is super high and i can only use this plus one on the half way mark.Comes with different pads for covering more or less area. The battery is amazing. I have fully charged it once and i have been using it since and the battery hasn't move not a bit. SuperGood product Follow me on here daily reviews and/or answering questions on the products reviewed

First, please make sure you can safely use a TENS unit before doing so! Assuming you don't have any conditions which prohibit the use, I can strongly recommend these home use TENS units. They are remarkably effective, and in my experience, as effective as the ones you rent/obtain from a medical practitioner. This particular unit is a fantastic deal, and works exceptionally well. A few specifics to comment on:1. good construction, lightweight but feels durable2. long battery life (and rechargeable)3. Easily portable4. 24 different modes means it can provide more functionality - whether muscle ‘massage', muscle relaxing, tissue manipulation, etc. Additionally, you can use different size pads that can help more effectively direct the charge to the specific part of your body you are targeting5. There are two leads (4 pads total) which can further enhance the effectiveness, and can also allow you to target two different body areas as well.6. The pads can be used over and over - can usually get 10-15 uses out of them before the stickiness wears off. You can also easily find replacement pads as they are standard (although note that there are two different ‘types' of replacement pads available - the snap on kind that this unit uses, and the wired electrode type that other units use).I have another TENS unit that I purchased.several years ago that only has 6 modes, and this unit is FAR more effective and flexible for my needs. I would definitely keep the number of different modes available in mind if you are looking to purchase one of these home TENS units. While you might have some immediate need that a unit with only a few modes can adequately address now, your needs may change over time and it is helpful to be prepared. I hope this info is helpful to you!

This is my first experience using a TENS unit, so I can't really compare it to other ones. I will say, though, that this one seemed to work well. I could definitely feel it working. I felt like it was pretty easy to figure out how it worked and operate it.It comes with four small pads, four medium pads, and two large pads. Four of these can be used at a time on two separate body parts, with two on each body part. The cords that connect to the TENS unit are fairly long, which is nice if you want to use it on two body parts that aren't super close to each other. Each side of the unit operates independently, so you can program different intensities. For example, I used this on my upper back and neck region along with one of my hands. I used a higher intensity on my back and neck than on my hand, and that worked really well.I have few bits of advice. First start out on a low intensity, especially if this is your first time using a TENS unit. There are ten intensities. The top few are pretty strong. I've found that I like to start out on either the lowest or second-lowest level. Then throughout the treatment, I will increase the intensity. As I get used this, I'll likely be able to start out on a higher level.Second, make sure that everything is connected well. When I first used it, I thought that one of the cords was faulty since only half of it was working. When I plugged it in the second time, it worked fine, so I assume that the cord just wasn't plugged in all the way.Third, don't turn it on until you are ready to use it. I would suggest connecting everything to the unit and putting the pads on where you want them before you even turn the unit on. You'll also likely want to turn it off before trying to remove them. Finally, don't be afraid to try things out for yourself. This comes with 24 different modes. There are some that you may like and others that you may not like. You may find that one mode works well for one body part while another works well on another area. I have not gotten a great feel for all 24 yet.
