“I did not find this very useful at all, and decided to just buy a real cupping set for like $20 and I have not used this since. I have tendinitis in my elbows and it did not stick to my arms at all, it might stick better to your back or something, but in general I would highly recommend buying an actual cupping set.”
“placement of cupping head and te control are placed at a very comfortable height and relation for thumb to easily operate the machine.unfortunately, the suction control really does not work, as it should stop sucking in the skin one the required level of negative pressure is attained, but it does not. So the suction become too much for tolerate, becomming painfully strong. I have already returned it.”
“This is a great tool. I use silicone cups and do Gua Sha and this tool is great. It has precise cupping suction it does take a few minutes to heat up but definitely worth purchasing”
“Related to and often used with the Chinese practice of medicine and the various techniques using needles glass cups, candles and other simple devices. The glass cut practice uses heat to evacuate the air and do this cupping practice. If this device has a downside is that you cannot do several at once as is often done with the glass type. The good news is this is much faster so you can move it and keep creating the areas of suction. Used around the neck and face, this helps with migraine headaches, and in other areas relaxes muscles and relieves pain. An inexpensive device that works and has many benefits. Recommended.”
“Though I could hope for a much more detailed & understandable English language set of instructions (truly, they're pretty much useless unless you speak the language, I suppose), ir even a manufacturer video instruction, I'm still pretty impressed.I've figure out most of what I need to get going with it and holy cow, this machine is a beast! Very good suction even on the first setting & the heat isn't bad either. Three separate heads to swap for different functions. Easy handle that allows firm control of the device. This device might be a bit much for the layperson or someone who hasn't had cupping/gua sha before, especially if they're not comfortable proceeding without useful instructions. The device comes with replacement pads for the inner part of the heads (these sponges help absorb & filter out oils used during service).I'd advise a full cleaning inside & out with a damp cloth & mild soap or rubbing alcohol after every use. After one use with oils, the inside has indeed sucked up a LOT of fluid under & around the head & in the sponge that thankfully filtered the mechanics from that moisture & oil. I don't think it would be able to keep it from the innards without regularly cleaning so take care & always keep your tools in good standing with regular hygiene & maintenance. Clean every time! The Cons:There's a teeny tiny screw (SO tiny!) you have to remove with the included screwdriver to swap heads & that's a pain - the screw half stripped on first head swap & tbh, I've not bothered replacing it before using the machine because of that - the heads seem to stay firmly in place without the tiny screw. Hope it's not vital that it stay screwed in for each head swap because if so, that's a minus for this product. Easily lost & deformed upon first removal, a tiny screw like this shouldn't be tasked with holding heads in place (if that's what the function is). Really no idea what the purpose of it is.A more notable con is that you cannot cease suction immediately if need be without entirely turning the device off, which then resets all settings for heat & suction level. This makes it hard to quickly remove the device in case the client feels discomfort. Even after turning it fully off, the suction remains in force & removal may cause pain or discomfort.I've found that by pressing my finger right near the suction seal, I can break the seal immediately & dislodge the device, so keep that hack in mind if it feels too strong & you want to immediately dislodge the machine during use. ðŸ‘Also a slight con: To increase heat or suction you have to cycle through all the levels from 1-9 - there's no way to toggle backwards to reduce suction or heat on the fly. Minor quibble, but responsiveness to client needs in service is key & sometimes adjustments need to be made for the work to have best efficacy & comfort in use. What might be tolerable heat or suction at first may be too much after a while. To have to entirely reset by turning the machine off or have to cycle through all degrees before coming down by one degree seems clunky & requires a client to experience increased heat or suction before getting the downward adjustment desired. This machine has a very good level of power & versatility for the price & I hope it remains durable & doesn't punk out in a few months 🤞So, for newbies: be careful & attentive, seek instruction on cupping & gua aha instructions before useFor pros: this packs a good wallop & travels very well”
