“Huge disappointment I bought one of these to use on my back, specifically because of its hot and cold attachments. The entire massager is a big disappointment, particularly the heat unit. Despite the manufacturer's claim that it offers "penetrating heat," the heat attachment only gets as warm as normal body temperature. It would need to be much warmer than that in order to penetrate. My old Sunbeam heating pad gets warmer than this massager, even on the lowest setting. The cold attachment was also disappointing because it becomes hard as a rock once you've had it in the freezer, which makes it uncomfortable to use, and for some reason it's also much noisier than the other attachments.I didn't like any of the other attachments either. Most of them were uncomfortable or even painful. The heat attachment was the most comfortable and least painful, but failed at accomplishing its intended purpose.Huge disappointing overall. I'm sending it back.”
“Wahl Hot Cold Therapy Electric Massager for Sore Muscles, Back, Neck, Shoulder, Leg, Foot, body This was a great purchase with an awesome price. This massager really helps my aching muscles. I highly recommend.”
“Not much power but the different attachments are cool. Don't like the on off "wheel". It comes on easily if you move it accidentally...then you wonder what that vibrating noise is....not enough heft or power though and top speed too slow.”
“If you are looking for a Therapy Massager don't buy this one. Not only is it heavy and ergonomically awkward, it is loud. There is no difference in its efficiency when on the low or high setting. The attachments are not easy to put on and they are too small to do much of anything. I purchased this to help break up scar tissue from years of Plantar Fasciitis but it is no stronger than a weak vibrator. I had a Wahl Jumbo Massager for 33 years and it just died so I thought I would purchase another Wahl product. Big mistake. While I wouldn't expect it to be as heavy duty and efficient as my old one, I at least thought it would live up to its advertisement. It didn't. Please don't waste your money unless you are looking for a "light duty vibrator". This thing is pretty useless.”
“Best thing about it was the customer service the unit did not come with the attachment I want which was stated up front I calked and customer service sent attachment free”
“After I purchased this item, I learned that it has been recalled by Wahl because of a possible fire hazard. The seller did not offer returns, but I did get a fast refund from TRAKK. I will be disposing of the item and am very disappointed.”
“First, this massager is very loud. The handle is short if you are trying to reach the muscles in your back or shoulders. I'd say, it's ok for a pulled muscle but not for an area where you might have joint damage. I have some bulging spinal discs and had to keep the massager away from that area or it caused more pain. For me, muscle massage ok...wearing earplugs. I'm not a doctor, this was my own experience. Yours may be different. You should consider talking to your doctor before using this. Oh, one more thing....that dial that is supposed to increase or decrease the intensity of the massage doesn't work on mine. It's either on or off no matter where the dial is set, no difference.”
