“I have been trying to work on my posture for a while now but it is hard to remember so I bought this and whenever I lean forward more than a few degrees it beeps and reminds me to sit up straight.”
“It's so small and it's just trash like wtf. It has not helped me with my bad posture and I have been wearing it on and off for a while. I think you are better off wasting your money on something else just not this product.”
“A few months ago I was rear ended by a semi-truck and dislocated/fractured a couple vertebrae in my neck which led to me having an anterior fusion. It has been a long road of recovery losing muscle to hold my neck straight and maintain a good posture all on my own. Been called turtle neck by several family members. Lol. This led me to try and find something to assist in this recovery.Well a couple clicks on TRAKK later and I come to "Comfy Brace". This has been so much help straightening up my posture. I've been wearing it for a couple weeks now and have been very impressed. The first couple of days I would wear it over my shirt but have since been wearing it underneath. Not as uncomfortable as I thought it would be. Got used to it farely quickly. Also the brace is not visible. Friends and family did not realize I was wearing it at times unless they really looked for it. As you can see from my before (green shirt) and after (white shirt) pics my posture has come a long way. Thankful to have come across this product and you will too!! Thanks Comfy Brace.”
“I've been burned by TRAKK before, but I'd like to think it's made me a wiser consumer. Still, I wasn't sure if this was for real or not, even with the rave reviews.I'm a massage therapist and a gamer and a driver so my arms are permanently forward. I probably look like Frankenstein when I sleep. I also have a larger chest (like the actual chest part) and larger-than-average breasts (36DD, 42'' around). Hyperkyphosis/humpbacks run in the family. None of that is changing any time soon so I've been looking into posture correctors to help retrain my muscles, decrease the rounded shoulders forward posture, decrease tension in my back and pecs, and give my front line some relief and my back line some support.I decided on this one with some trepidation.Well it's kind of wild, but I noticed an improvement after wearing this immediately. It gives immediate relief because it pulls everything that's slouching forward back. What I would advise is to be sure you're not hyperlordosis-ing your back; that is, when you put this on, be sure to keep your back tall and low-back neutral, perhaps even tucked a little because this corrector will possibly incline you to push out your butt more, increasing sway-back and compromising other muscles. You want a nice, even back as much as possible in your life, but especially when you wear this. After only an hour of wearing it, my posture was already more naturally tall and corrected. Felt good, really. I've only been wearing it about an hour a day for a week and it's made a noticeable improvement in how I stand and work. It's also helping to keep my shoulders down. They tend to creep up on me due to anxiety and my work/play.If it *hurts* right after you put it on, loosen the straps a bit. Ease into using it, maybe even just 30min to start depending on your conditions. I'd highly recommend this product.”
“I just got my brace yesterday and wore it for about half an hour, so that's where I'm coming from with this review. My family have noticed my poor posture lately and have been commenting on it, so I've ordered a new chair for my home office, a lumbar support cushion for my chair at work, and this thing for when I'm not at either.I've got a large torso and wide shoulders, so I wasn't sure how long the straps should be; eventually I decided to put them on with only slightly lengthened straps from the default. They're elastic, and fairly strongly so, and they held my shoulders back in the proper posture without trouble. My family noticed immediately that I was standing straighter, so clearly they're doing the job, and there wasn't any noticeable discomfort from the relatively tight straps. The seller recommends wearing them for short periods until you get used to them, and I can see why: I wore them only half an hour because my shoulders were getting sore. The fact of the muscle soreness suggests that my body is actually doing some of the work to hold my shoulders back (probably unconsciously), and that's good news: it means my rear deltoids will actually be tightening up over time while wearing them, improving my posture even without the brace on. I don't think this is the ideal solution for poor posture - barbell exercises for the chest and upper/lower back are the best solutions - but for anyone without time or access to a gym this is at lesat a reasonable alternative.I can't say how well this would help people with longterm injuries or chronic pain, as I don't have either, but at least as far as a single wearing this product seems to be exactly what its advertised to be. I'll update this review in a month or so, after I've worn it more.EDIT: I've now had the brace for two weeks, and I can safely say that its much more comfortable to wear for longer periods now than it was at the beginning. I've restarted my weightlifting regimen, so it's hard to say which has had more effect, but I've noticed myself automatically sitting up straight without having to consciously make myself do so. Obviously, this involves tensing muscles, so I have a little bit more soreness after long periods sitting with no back support than before, but that's been fading as I become accustomed to it.”
“I actually got this to help with my son's posture. It definitely works as advertised and buzzes when he is not sitting or standing straight. I've seen an improvement while he wears and it and hope that turns into muscle memory over time and improves his posture long term.”
